Kitties and their hoomans are made for each other. This has never been a secret. In fact, it has always been well known. Here is an old New England tail, oops tale to prove it:

Freeman delivers this well crafted tale with cunning and patience, just like the cat's. It is about the need for companionship, even by those who can survive alone in the harshest conditions.
Mary E Wilkins Freeman was an American novelist (October 1852 - March 1930) and short story writer. The majority of her writing focused on New England life

Twiggy loves getting food and toys delivered, but likes the box the most.

Pretty lady, a s, elderly woman must've taken good care of her.
Cats are cool creatures.
Why Twiggy....the lines?

Twiggy because she’s the opposite of the other Twiggy. She’s a bit of a Chonk. We believe she and the other cat had free run of the cat food when the owner died. She certainly did not likely get much or any exercise either. We’re working on that and she’s on a weight management diet too. We have a weight in every Monday and she’s steadily losing weight.

Had a cat with long whiskers many moons ago, when the Trac Two razor first came around,
named the cat Trac Two.
She could lose a few pounds but you caught it in time, she's not crazy huge.
Not like Holly anyway.

Risotto the cat allegedly flees from Ukraine rather than fight:

Dunno if I can buy that one. After all, cats are well known for their commie inclinations - you would swear he would welcome Putin with open arms (that is, assuming he's bringing on the Red Army). Makes me wonder if Risotto isn't being catnapped or kidnapped!

Cattfeinated Cat Cafe in Greensburg sending donations to Ukraine
https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/tripid ... uxbndlbing
The Cattfeinated Cat Cafe in Greensburg is 4,500 miles away from the Cat Cafe in Ukraine, but being in the same business, the cafe here wants to help, so they’re sending donations overseas. The owners in Westmoreland County felt the need to connect with the Ukrainian cat cafe caught in the middle of a devastating war.
“They want to place their cats, we want to adopt ours; they rescue their cats, we rescue ours. Even though we’re far apart, and speak a different language, we have the same mission,” Jones said.
The cat cafe in Lviv serves the same mission as the cafe in Greensburg. That’s how owner Rob Jones knew he had to help.
“There’s not too many cat cafes around … I wanted to reach out and help because if something ... like that happened here, where we’d need help I would appreciate the assistance to help,” Jones said.
Jones said the Ukrainian cafe was overwhelmed with the response and support, and while their war-torn country is under attack, they’re not leaving behind their feline friends.
“They’re refusing to leave because there’s no one to take care of the cats. They have around 20, I believe right now, and there’s no one else to take care of them, so they’re standing tall and standing in place until hopefully things pass,” Jones said.

I pulled out a box that contained old programs from past events I attended. I was only away for a moment before Twiggy made a bed out of it. Take note of the Johns Hopkins program from 1976 vs Maryland. Bad day for the Jays.

Introducing #2, Augusto (Auggie). We picked him up as a rescue some months after getting Twiggy. 2.5 year old Auggie was turned in by a college student who found that having a cat didn’t fit in to her lifestyle. He had only been turned in for a week when I noticed him in a general population room at Ten Lives Club, comfortable and confident with other mostly younger cats. He is one of the most friendly cats I’ve ever seen. Will greet everyone that comes in with a body slam and has a little peep of a voice for being a long, 15# cat. This handsome medium hair black cat loves to play and dives with reckless abandon. We just started getting him used to a harness for walks in the neighborhood. Local dogs that parade up and down the street are in for a surprise. Black cats are often get passed over, but this guy is a gem.

We have a local cat shelter called Ten Lives Club. They do an amazing job and take in and get adopted thousands of cats including one of mine. I donate some resources and spend some personal time, especially in the Shy Cat Room, giving them some needed human contact. Couldn’t help notice these two brothers waiting for their furever home.
