Attention Dmac..

...and all others with whom TL wagered!

A grand total of seven (7  ) assisteseseses in the first three games of the season might require the cancellation of all wagers.

Peace, out.

PS: Kidding.

Hot dayuuuuum...

Post by Turtles Lax »

...Lockdown Larry Hogan, the governor of the Great State of Maryland, just announced outdoor sports venues can reopen with 50% capacity. 8-) That bodes well for fans of the greatest team in all the land. :D

Of course, the knuckleheads who run Peeeeeeee Geeeeeeeee County still have a say as does the B1G but given the B1G is allowing fans at the boys’ hoops tournament hope springs eternal.

That is all.

Peace, out.

Constantly gloating about YOUR Little Turtles, and contriving opportunities to do so.
Referring to yourself in the 3rd person...

You clearly have a problem with reading comprehension.

Which doesn’t surprise TL whatsoever given your posts.

Hopkins has deigned to allow...

Post by Turtles Lax »

...parents to attend today’s game in a rather tardy decision. There was a petition from families/friends for parents to be allowed. To be clear, it was solely a Hopkins decision to deny access til it was changed.

That said, lotsa ‘rents will be there to support their littles ones. One parent friend is headed to Charm City from far, far away given this rare chance to watch her player in person.

TL will be watching from a beerroom patio on this glorious sunny day in Florida. And hoping fans will soon be allowed, too.

Peace, out.

Hopkins 5-4 over the Terps at the half. Hopkins has never won versus MD (according to the announcer).

True. Never in their 18 previous meetings.

A lot of sloppy play, and not because anyone's defense is super-intense.

8-8 with 6:09 to go. Go Jays!

Terrible possession on what could have been the go-ahead for JHU.

OT.

Leubecker's fourth of the day wins it for Terps.

meh. I'm really surprised how quickly MD has fallen, didn't seem that long ago they were dominant. I haven't been following their recruiting classes but obviously have had several down years.

They are not a top 10 team...top 20 maybe.

Another W...

...albeit it one in jeopardy ’til the OT end.

TL is a bit puzzled by the stunning lack of assists...again...but players make plays.

Only saw the second half; there were some sloppy plays/unforced turnovers but also saw some tough D...both sides.

That is all.

Peace, out.

TL

PS: Fingers crossed for some sanity on the part of B1G, PG County, and, yes, Terrapin administration in consideration of allowing fans to attend. ‘Tis long, long overdue.

Lizzie Colson

Post by Cletus »

There was a concerning moment toward the end of the Terp/Hop game yesterday (if memory serves) where Lizzie Colson was in a heap beside the goal for a longer period of time than was comfortable for Terp fans. I don't remember if Ms. Colson finished the game or not. I also don't remember making a mental note to look for her on the field afterward. We all know teams play injuries very close to the vest so I don't know how much info we'll get on it.
