What week does the Fantasy season start?

Last season started on 2/15. This season should be similar. You'll have time to see your teams play and see which players are getting PT before you set your line-up for Fantasy Game One.

The 2020 Fantasy Lacrosse Pages have been updated including the Fantasy Schedules and the NCAA games that Count. The first games that count are on February 15. The season starts "for real" (i.e. All the NCAA and Fantasy teams have games en masse) on February 21st.

I'll be asking for people's starting line-ups in February.

One question, one comment.

Does your chronological listing of games say anything about home/away (I realize the fantasy week listing obviously does not)? In other words, is the first team listed either the away team (as in all other sports), or the home team (ala IL's listing practice), or does the listing order have no relation to home/away?

Second, UVa v. VMI for a semi final is awfully tough--that game would normally be a game that UVa starters might not play much, and maybe not at all. Seems like that would potentially put someone with multiple uva players ( ) at a disadvantage against someone without many or any uva players.

Not home and away. the first team is "the relevant team for the fantasy game" and the second team is their opponent.

UVA... Good point. I replaced their VMI semifinal game with their 4/11 Utah game. A Utah team that finished lower ranked than, but beat, Air Force.

I mean if we are trying to cherry pick game then PSU Defense that I have would like their easier fixture rather than all their hard opponents haha! Joking obvs.
If you’ve picked a lot of UVA player that’s your choice and your problem I think. I purposefully never take too many from one squad incase they have hard/too easy fixtures

Each team plays (potentially) 11 games. We're trying to have each team play the 11 best games on their schedule. The 11 best games being defined as (1) against the best teams, (2) against other teams in our Fantasy League, and (3) on the same dates that other teams are playing. e.g. If every NCAA team is playing Game Four on March 14, we try to make, for example, Denver's game on March 14th. they don't have a game on March 14 so, instead, we use their March 15 game. Anyway, that's what we consider, what we try to balance. And, in this case, Greenie is right. The match-up with VMI was on the right date but at the sacrifice of criteria 1 and 2. So, a change.

Actually watched the game, He had some really good shots but 3 of his goals most teams wouldn’t have given up so easily

I can’t expect 7 pts a game but he is ridiculously good at finding openings and his shooting accuracy is scary good. That said I was picking 10 and all you guys took the 80 plus point scorers so.,,,,
