In those days those clubs would have been ranked D1.
My Dad would take me to see MLC play anyone on Sunday afternoons at St Paul’s. It was the best free clinic in the game.

What is ironic is the schedule time frame is expanding into early February at the same time actual number of games are dropping.

Obviously, that wasn't over at the half, but did you read the scores of the games leading up to that memorable game? For both teams, complete demolition with Cornell actually SHUTTING OUT 1 opponent.

Much later,
but Rob Shek was on the same attack line with Paul and Gary Gait for Mount Washington.

middie line. millon, blatchley et al at attack. cantabene facing off. petro, klausner, voelker, klodzen on d, linthicum in goal. among many others.

those were satisfying wins going against the mount.

but the schedules aren't really shrinking. nd has always done 11 games pre-pandemic. rest of acc, ivy pretty normal. even xxxxxxx's loyola? in the b1g, umd, psu and rutgers are down a game, but they have everyone in their tourney now, so with an expectation of 2 or maybe 3 games that makes sense.
