Not sure I share your assessment.
I think it'll be really close. Princeton is too disciplined to let it get away.

8MPA, serious question: why do you think so?
yeah...I am really not feeling a win today. Fish seems to always play well against Loyola and Sears torched them for 7 points the last time they played.
Yeah. I get it. The reason I asked 8MPA why he thought Loyola would cruise (my words) is that I think these are really well-matched teams, in terms of star power (Sears and Rosenzweig; Donovan and Detwiler; etc.), discipline, good goalies, competent defenders, good offenses. In my stupid poll, I have them 6 (Hounds) and 7(Tigers) -- I could have gone either way.
I could be totally off base, but have Loyola winning by at least 4...they have been their own worse enemy this year. I think they are up for this game and everything clicks, finally. I also think everyone forgot ivy women missed a lot of time...it does matter.

I do think Princeton is too highly rated by most...i have them more as a 12 - 15 type team.

Nobody works the reverse psychology jinx like the good doctor. 🤣
Not doing that this time. I have a bit of an upset stomach....I kind of think that Princeton might be a tougher game than Cuse. Arguably better D and G. (Princeton over Cuse)

Yeah, understood. I’ve been trying to hold my enthusiasm for Princeton at bay a bit. We’ll learn more tonight!

I missed who it was at the start of the game so thanks for that.

I agree, it’s well balanced and informative.

Yeah, didn't like her as a coach, but the color call is really good

She adds to the broadcast by giving a little more than lowest common denominator. Like she talked about using lefties, or skip passes.... All things we are used to in the men's broadcasts.

Tigers did well to get to within 1 at the half considering how poorly they have played at times.

Speaking of lefties, D is a righty in all else other than lacrosse (know she can go right but a natural lefty)?

Yeah, she’s made a grand total of 1 save. This season as a whole really does seem like it will be decided by whichever goalie in a given game is less worse than the other.

Whew, double martini night for the Dr.
Good game, hard fought by both teams.

If I'm Princeton I'm gettin' the ball in Montes' stick a lot.
Crazy quickness and speed with a good shot. She needs
to have the ball more.

How in the world did you know about the double martini? 🍸🍸

So glad I had to work late and got to watch on TV.... Looked like a miserable night.

Princeton showed that they are a really good team. If Fish was better, they would have won.

What didn't you like about Jessy Morgan as the George Mason coach. She was quite successful(59-36 in 5 yrs +1 COVID short season) and turned that program around. If you want to send me a PM.

I thought the same thing. And she's only a frosh. What a career in front of her!

Princeton made a lot of little errors, and you can't do that against teams that are competent and can punish you. A handful of ill-advised and poorly timed YCs; some unforced TOs, and uncharacteristically poor keeping by Fish combined to sink them -- along with a really good, pretty steady effort by the Loyola kids, who scored goals when they needed them. When it was 14-9, I was pretty sure Princeton had a run in them, and when they fended off the three-two-one man down thing....

When Loyola was playing 7 on 4, Loyola should have gone to the cage rather than waste the time. They were up by 5 goals, and shouldn't have worried about a draw up by 6. Think this was a poor -- if understandable -- decision.
