Congratulations to the Eldest Statesmen on their championship at the Lake Placid Summit tournament. The team pulled off the rare and difficult feat winning all three major tournaments o the senior circuit. They won in Florida, Vail and Lake Placid. The tradition continues. How do you spell fun?

You can get the roster on the Lake Placid lacrosse site. The team is lead by Capt. John Hayes.

Seems like history repeated itself last season for Hobart. Hope it continues in 2020.

Seems like a fair assessment to me. Not sure about the x. Blanchard is good, but has gotten injured a fair amount. Will be interesting to see what happens with the sophomores. Mitrow is a strong kid, but I don't think he played at the x at all last year. Maybe a new FY?
Any solid news on Mueller? Is he really gone?
I hope to see Archer in an even bigger role ... the Cam Stone of 2020, but feeding to big Canadian cutters. Madonna's shots from the outside should keep everyone guessing.
Separate topic, but after watching the PLL, I'd like to see the shot clock reduced to 70 seconds with a change of possession AND free clear for a violation.

I’ve only heard rumors on Mueller but from a few folks who know better than I that he’s done with lacrosse which would be a shame, isn’t primary source info but seems very correct. We’ve missed him last 3-5 games each of the last two seasons.

Dickson has the most draws and really Ped was overworked. He wasn’t as strong late in the season which probably cost us the st joes game and perhaps one or both the romp games. The record vs Siena May have been a coaching mistake, he wasn’t needed in the second half. Hear the kid from NC is under the radar (like Ped) good and Mitrow was strong in college. Really we need better wing play as we got crushed there by the good teams on our schedule like cornell. We’ve got a lot of kids and I think I dickson, Mitrow, Blanchard and Vona is a nice group, shouldn’t be like a few years ago where we were losing 20/24 to cornell and giving up q4 leads bc of it.

Thanks 10stone & MPI.

Saw two others recently, matt turner of nj/bluestar (m Christiansen’s club)

https://www.connectlax.com/profile/MattT00

Anthony Dattellas (a) from..,,,West Genny! Perhaps the thaw has occurred w Messere now that Hanna as retired.

https://www.insidelacrosse.com/recruiting/profile/50991

Also have Sam Ward from Hingham (6,4”- looks like a young Jeff colburn) continuing our takeover of wealthy Mass areas as we are closing in on owning LS

https://www.insidelacrosse.com/recruiting/profile/48610

The one who looks like he’s criminal ignored by Il etc and a stud to me is a Connor durkin of J-D who’ll be an aA this spring and perhaps accolades on the level of Ryan Archer. 63pts as a Soph, 123pts aa a jr. By comparison Archer had 116pts as a Jr (64, 52) - we really need to
Take good care of Jamie Archer,

Crush has fed us well last few years, I hadn’t looked at it a bit. W/o LP I was going to see if I could round up a more comprehensive 2019, current FY list for the thread but haven’t gotten to it yet.

Delaney, from onondaga, is a Cornell commit originally who recently recommitted.

https://www.insidelacrosse.com/recruiting/profile/46692

Bach, from lowville, had 105pts last year which means we have two Jr triple digit guys from CNY coming in (at least). Don’t know how strong that class is but Watertown is usually strong. He and Durkin both look like more feeders but still balanced.

Its too bad as I had hoped he could contribute with the other Canadians this season.

Very glad Ty is back. I expect to see him on the field a lot more this season. Lots of new roles on our offense now that Aslanian has graduated.
