Does Stevenson have a chance to beat York in the MAC Commonwealth championship? Is this a one bid league? I feel like it would have to be?

After seeing them tonight at Messiah? In a word.... No

Messiah had only 20 or so dressed, was missing several regulars and played several guys play completely out of position yet it was 12-9 with about 3 min to play.

Stevenson should be a lot more worried about Eastern than York.

Thank you, what happened with messiah that they don't have more players? Injuries? Sickness?

it is tough to get up for every game, but I am sure that both Stevenson and York will be ready for tomorrow as I imagine that only the AQ will get into the tourney and having it at home will be of paramount importance. How much does Stevenson's senior leadership help them? can #14 go tomorrow night. Can York's seeming advantage at the faceoff X and in the goal manifest itself

Agree on all, easily the marquee MAC-C regular season match-up. Based on what I've seen, I'd take York by a comfortable margin (in the 17-11 to 19-13 vacinity).

If Stevenson was a second faster with their ball movement, they would have about 3 or 4 wide open step downs during this 1st quarter. That backside one more is WIDE open.

Deep, very thoughtful compilation. You certainly have a passion for the MAC as a whole, thank you for taking the time to share.

The inclusion of the LVC & Hood Mids surprised me a bit as I thought I might have just seen them at their best. Your inclusion reaffirms what I saw.

In my comparatively limited observation, Ethan Green was the most impressive Defensive Player I saw this season however I will defer to Deep for his much wider view of the full season.

Haven't watched much MACtion this year but how did Mayer do? He got a ton of preseason hype and was terrific as a freshman last year.

Having seen Stevenson and York, I would go Greene over Wilson for DPOY. Greene is a freaking monster in the middle of the field - midfielders run for their life when he is around. I think Quinn is slightly better than Wilson as well.

Also, goalie stats are very underwhelming for the conference - for example, Scorese at .502? Majority of starters are at 50% or under - not sure Keller (York .612) has started enough games to get 1st team?

Mayer is as advertised, terrific. Drawing the top cover man from the likes of Gettysburg, RIT, Salisbury, Amherst etc., along with a consistent quick slide, has certainly impacted his numbers. But it also has opened up massive opportunities for Harnick et al, as evidenced by the jump in production. Believe the hype.

DPOTY is a tough one. LSM, close, and goalies all provide different metrics to compare and contrast. Greene has been excellent on the eyes, and with the stat lines to back it up. How many on this site have helped me see it is, defenders, and more specifically close D, are difficult to quantify using only the available stat lines. While there are many with more GBs & CTOs etc, Wilson has played some of the best offensive threats in the country at close and, to my observations, has done a darn good job. The case can be made for many York D and LSM too. If it goes to anyone else I would not be surprised, but being a York homer, I tried to take extra precautions to not make this a “First Team All-York” list.

(see above for my explanation of Greene/DPOTY take)
Agreed. Scorese gets the nod on his stats IMO due to the GP/minutes and strength of opponents. If York had one goalie this season, he would likely have a better resume For this accolade.

Mayer is very good, but Harnick is having a much better and an outstanding season which I do not credit solely due to the factors mentioned. And far fewer turnovers.
As for MAC Coach of the Year, I have some doubts. York's wins are all against teams they were expected to and should beat, but they have lost every game against better competition (even if most were very close). And the RIT non-TO? I know they lost a ton of talent and experience from last year and I can't really comment on other coaches/programs, but it seems like some other teams have more challenges but are making some strides nonetheless.

Looking at the last regular season game, and how the playoffs should shake out.

York over Widener
Stevenson over Alvernia
Eastern over hood.
Messiah over Albright

That should leave
Messiah vs widener for play in game Monday
York (1) vs Widener
Stevenson(2) vs Eastern

York vs Stevenson Saturday
Sunday the brackets get announced.
