Union v Williams was a great game - five years in a row it was a one goal difference. Two very evenly matched teams with the only real advantage Williams had being at the faceoff x. Offense moved the ball well with 7 assists on 10 goals. And Union’s D might be stronger than last year.

Looking like April 4 could be a battle for the Liberty League tourney bye.

Big week coming up.

Ithaca gets Cabrini and Tufts. Either a signature win (or two) or a 1-4 start.

RPI plays Babson and Williams, both of whom already played Union. Will be a good comparison to see where RPI and Union stack up.

Clarkson's been putting up tons of goals. Get to see how real that is with RIT on Wednesday.

Union gets another top 20 match-up on Wednesday against SJF.

And 7 days from now it's RIT and SLU at the Mustang Classic.

Season changing win for the Bombers! Let’s see if they can put two wins together- tough ask against the Jumbos but that would be huge.

Ithaca doesn't have to wait long before it's next shot at an upset - Tuesday 7 pm @ Tufts

And on Wednesday, RPI gets Williams and Union gets SJF.

Some really nice midweek OC games

You're right. I read suspended and my mind jumped to cancelled. And I panicked. You're right.

For anyone else that's interested, Ithaca got a nice, sizable write-up on the first page of IL re: their win over Cabrini. Great article (if you're a Bomber, like myself):

skidmore played merchant marine this AM and won by 1. if they were cancelling their season, they wouldn't be squeezing in a game. i don't think.

amended. the thoroughbreds are on spring break and the game was always planned for this time. the boys are coming back to campus after spring break to get their stuff and then they're going home for distance learning until TBD.

Tufts pounded IC tonight, 26-11, in what might well be the last game of Tuft's season, as apparently it was announced just before the game that the university was going to on-line learning and suspending all extra-curricular activities.

Tufts shot the ball 100 times and simply overwhelmed IC. If this is the last time the Jumbos play this year, I have to feel for them; they have been absolutely dominant thus far, scoring 25-25-26 in their last 3 games.

Not surprised this ended up a loss for Ithaca, and hats off to the Bombers for not hanging it up and for priding hard until the end. And hats off to the IC goalie, who recorded 32 (!) saves.
