NAPS etc. are essentially a PG year/prep schools to prepare them for four years at the academies. IL mostky loses sight of them best I can tell. At one point they were going to cover all incoming freshmen. They began to include Canadians for example.

Agree OCANADA the coverage was sporadic. Sprinkled into the list based on limited information or late identification. Top talent aged a year is meaningful.

UMBC On a very late round awhile ago I drafted a freshman attackman from Canada. I had had a tip about him in the days I was more active in lax than I am now. His nn was Tugboat. I don’t recall his real name. He put up over 40 goals. The following year he was gone. Never heard of him again. A friend who was a Canadian player replied when I brought it up “ what did you expect he is a Canuck”. It’s stabilized a lot since.
