How many players did they buy exactly? They got Ierlan (not through buying), but I don't see multiple Sowers on the roster. This building was in 2011 before the NIL period.

I've yet to see alums actually pony up cash for multiple star players.

And to answer the question, Harvard is my vote for next championship if they ever get their act together. If Yale could do it, the Crimson certainly can.

Jr will be as of now HS class of 31, so figure it’s more like 33 for that. TBD if I’ll be alive then.

Expecting it out of Harvard is like the RE developers who keep going into revitalize the Poconos, Catskills and Hartford and get blown up every time.

If the championship were “my loving” then Harvard should expect this:

However, while I don't want to "count my chickens before they are hatched", I like to think that Brown, now that Jon Torpey is their man, will be higher on the list in this discussion. What a great hire!

The fact that Hopkins has been in the relative wilderness for a while speaks to the difficulty less established programs will have challenging the big guns in the ACC plus Maryland in the coming decade.

I like Penn State as the school most likely to put the pieces together. Tambroni has put multiple good teams together and had a real shot in 2019. Playing in the B1G should provide athletic department support for a program to compete.** Same rationale applies to Michigan, but I like Tambroni more as a coach.

**However, if NIL morphs into collective bargaining, we could see a world where football television money is funneled to the players, so who knows how that would affect other programs.

I like Tambroni better as a coach. Michigan should be more appealing to recruits. Perhaps Conry gets there, but Michigan is the most obvious sleeping giant in lacrosse.

Well our daughter did attend. But I was referring to an alum willing and able to spend generously to support the program.

Listen you can’t be talking like that and not expect your specific audience here to respond any other way than “need pics”. You should know better!
