There always seems to be a lot of head scratchers with this list. First one is where is Luke Nestor??? Has around 70 points out of the midfield for the best team in the country and one could argue he should be a 2nd teamer at the lowest. Also, how is Andrew Cook not on 1st team? Has clearly been the best midfielder these past two seasons and has over 90 points out of the midfield. Last thing is Carter Strauch won Centennial player of the year for Swarthmore, but is only HM whereas his running mate on attack is a 2nd teamer. Both are great players, but just interesting to see the differences of opinion.

Are my eyes deceiving me? W&L’s Alex Brown has 70 goals and is not mentioned at all.

I'll never forget they had Kyle Tucker from Cabrini as a Pre-season All-American.... the year after he graduated.

Cook didn’t make a team last year then USILA announced him as their midfielder of the year…pretty bad showing from this outlet.

US Lacrosse Magazine is a rag. As soon as there was finally competition, that was extremely evident.

I agree, I think the USA Lacrosse Magazine list is usually the flimsiest. The IL and, I think you meant to say IMLCA, lists tend to be more credible, IMHO anyways. Congrats to all of the young men for the honor and recognition!

You’re spot on, both be and Hauser are attack. However, to be fair, they are listed as M on both the IL and Tufts roster websites.

I agree. The writers did very little research or due diligence. They are too busy podcasting or coaching. USA Lacrosse should be ashamed of this article. And, more importantly, the kids who should be celebrated are not being recognized.
