Re: All Americans 2024
I have a lot of gripes with this list but being a Notre Dame fan the biggest one being Pat kav not on first team. Best offensive player on the best team in the country isn’t a first teamer. Also, happy that Devon McLane got recognized as a 2nd teamer but if I had to pick I would say Dobson and Faison are better than him.AreaLax wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:11 pm IL’s list of All American’s

Only a ND fan would think Faison is an AA... lol. Why don't we give AA to my grandmom while you're at it.BigMoose9 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:16 pmI have a lot of gripes with this list but being a Notre Dame fan the biggest one being Pat kav not on first team. Don’t watch a ton but surprise degnon over Angelus
Harvard University, out
University of Utah, in
I am going to get a 4.0 in damage.
(Afan jealous he didn’t do this first)

Re: All Americans 2024
I actually like the 2nd team better, but they are all pretty close. If I am kicking someone off the 1st team, it’s ONeill. That was never going to happenBigMoose9 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:16 pmI have a lot of gripes with this list but being a Notre Dame fan the biggest one being Pat kav not on first team. Re: All Americans 2024
This is the AA list equivalent of Jordan Evans over Matt Rambo. Well done again, IL.

Re: All Americans 2024
Kirst and Brandau being 1AA and Shelly and Kav being 2AA is a joke. That's so cute, the JV squad gets first team AA in their lil cupcake league...hope they are having fun watching the tournament!

Re: All Americans 2024
Payton as HM Every team would cut off their left nut to have him.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Re: All Americans 2024
Remind me again if Entenmann made zero saves and got pulled in a game this year.

Did he? I don't know. Did every player on this list dominate every half this season?

Re: All Americans 2024
Agree it's shocking that a guy who does nothing but score tons of goals, many from his own playmaking, is not recognized better. But I doubt anyone's donating a testacle for his services.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 10:16 pm Payton as HM Every team would cut off their left nut to have him.
Re: All Americans 2024
No he didn’t. Entenmanns never made zero saves and gotten pulled. He averaged 70%+ that same weekend.
Re: All Americans 2024
It's obvious IL has an agenda; sport expansion. This is reflected in their choices.
Re: All Americans 2024
At the end of the day USILA list is the one that matters anyway.

Re: All Americans 2024
Submitted by college coaches and goes to a committee. Not a bunch of guys who have never played college lacrosse.
USILA also gives out the Enners, Schmeisser, etc. it’s the “official” list

Re: All Americans 2024
Based on the AA lists submitted thus far, as well as the discussions on fanlax, I'm guessing that there's a better than typical chance that the Enners Award and the Tewaaraton award are not given to the same player for the 2024 season.BigTurn wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 10:45 pmSubmitted by college coaches and goes to a committee. Re: All Americans 2024
Do you think USILA is above the politics and connections that every other organization in the world is subject to?BigTurn wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 10:45 pmSubmitted by college coaches and goes to a committee. Not a bunch of guys who have never played college lacrosse.

Re: All Americans 2024
No. But I value their opinions more than IL, who takes voting input from random lacrosse twitter accounts and people who have never played college lacrosse, let alone D1. It’s also not like this is just me.. it’s been the list people point to for AA for as long as I remember.keno in reno wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 11:39 pmDo you think USILA is above the politics and connections that every other organization in the world is subject to?BigTurn wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 10:45 pmSubmitted by college coaches and goes to a committee.
