I would be very happy to be wrong on that prediction, if Albany wins
#1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5

5-4 Albany. Half. Of course.
Watch the only upset this weekend be the #1 team. Because why not.
(I’ll repeat: these teams aren’t even talent-wise, but you still need to play the game. Has Albany won even one FO?!)).
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
Said last week the only team that will beat ND is ND. They seemed determined to do it today.
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
You can challenge without having a timeout? Do they just take it from you for the 2H?
That feels rather convenient to me

LOL, Albany has outplayed them flat out. It's not like ND is giving up a ton of TOs (7 - same as Albany). 8 Out of 11 FOs and down.

Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
They had 7 unforced turnovers in the first quarter and gave Albany a 3 minute nonreleasable. What game are you watching lmao

Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
NDs turnovers are almost entirely unforced vs Albany getting stripped left and right. You conveniently skipped over the 3 minute unreleasable. You dont know lacrosse like you think you do.
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
Ah yes, "entirely unforced" and "7 unforced turnovers". Albany has 3 caused turnovers by their defenders. Which is it? Do you know math?BigTurn wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 6:10 pmNDs turnovers are almost entirely unforced vs Albany getting stripped left and right. You conveniently skipped over the 3 minute unreleasable. I'm expecting a much different Irish team in the 2nd half. You know Corrigan is losing his mind in the locker room.
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
I don’t have a stat sheet in front of me. Benennati said they had 7 unforced turnovers in the first quarter. They currently have 11 total. Are you simple?norcalhop wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 6:13 pmAh yes, "entirely unforced" and "7 unforced turnovers". Albany has 3 caused turnovers by their defenders. Which is it? No offense to Albany, but Georgetown is significantly more talented than Albany.

I think it's premature to just crown someone champ or say it's impossible for someone to beat XYZ team. UVa did lose to UMBC in the first round as the #1 overall seed in basketball. Upsets do happen afterall.Finster wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 6:23 pmrolldodge wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 6:18 pmI’ll probably jinx it now but this is looking a lot like the Gtown game so far.

The dream is dying
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
Hope you haters enjoyed the first half!
Re: #1 Notre Dame vs Albany Sunday @ 5
I mean you’re not wrong, I agree. I think Albany is a good team, and it seems the Irish didn’t take them seriously at the start. Maybe it’s cliche but isn’t the mark of a great team being able to win even if you don’t play well?
This comment is more so just clapping back at the Kavanagh/Irish haters who were dreaming for an upset.
