I think this one comes down to possessions. Did little work on this. Based on my work Michigan scores .39 per possession and Denver is at .36 (unadjusted).. Michigan gives up .37 on defense per possession and Denver is at .37 also.. Michigan turns it over .46 times per possession vs .57 for Denver. Both teams make a living off winning the possession game through faceoffs. I favor Michigan slightly, but it is near impossible to predict face offs match ups.

Michigan’s tour de force in the Big 10 tournament embarrassed a couple of teams who were already locks and sent Cornell packing. The last time I saw a full Denver game was against Hopkins. I think they advance with a close win as the coach turns back into a pumpkin.

Don't sleep on the thin air. I lived in Boulder for 6 years and my first couple of weeks were gasping for air.

Both Denver and Michigan have large and aggressive defenses, and I think it'll come down to the team with the best SSDM performances.

My money is on MI for the win. They're the Cinderella this year and Denver's record exaggerates their quality of play.

No team that whips Ohio State, Hopkins, and Penn State in rapid succession can be taken lightly. Those are three very different opponents and Michigan handled them all.

I think Michigan beats Denver, convincingly.
