So very proud of these 27 young men who captured the respect and support of the entire lacrosse world this season! They are Winners in the game of life for having to deal with all the adversity surrounded by the closing of their school and still making the NCAA Tournament ! Go out and have fun this weekend and play the game you love! Good luck and “Burn the Boats”!

At 6:03pm on May 11, 2024 in Newport News Virginia, 2019 Division 3 National Champions, Cabrini University played their last men's lacrosse game ever. I'm so proud of these 27 men who stuck around and gave us an incredible final season! Burn the boats! Roll Cavs Forever!

So very proud of these young men. Wishing them all the best in the future! A great group of guys that put the team and Cabrini ahead of themselves! Life will continue on and they will be very well prepared for their lives ahead given the challenges they all overcame this past year! ROLL CAVS FOREVER!

Exactly. As these men hit the portal, I hope that’s how it is seen. They stayed, and kept fighting. Polar opposite of the typical undergrad, jumping ship after not getting the time/position/results they desired but didn’t earn yet (Not always the case, but frankly that covers a lot of them).

Connor has to get picked up. Folks were talking RIT or the Gulls on this thread. Bear would contribute in a lot of programs. There are a fair amount whose parents indicated they were not planning to play lax anywhere else.

If you don’t get goosebumps watching the his video, you should head straight to the ER. Your heart has probably stopped beating.

a nice send off by Inside Lacrosse. Typo on Jackie NEARY though. She needs her respect too as a goat. Also looks like Herraiz is considering Salisbury, RIT, York and CNU.

Reflecting on the season. Recalling the ECD video where our players stated their lofty goals. The opening day win against the Squirrels. Realizing they would be several tiers below the top teams after the Bugs. Watching them fight like crazy at Cortland. Let down against Catholic. Eastern win. AEC doldrums. Last ever home game. CNU. I wonder what lessons Tommy and the boys will take with them on the field next year and off. I'm still in denial about that campus, in it's current form, vanishing into the Villanova machine. Program founding (1994). Upstarts (2001-2006) to mainstays to contenders to champions to contenders to mainstays to upstarts. Back from which we came.

Back in the days when I was a teenager
Before I had status and before I had a pager
You could find the Abstract listening to hip hop
My pops used to say, it reminded him of be-bop
I said, well daddy don't you know that things go in cycles
The way that Bobby Brown is just ampin like Michael

It's all expected, things are for the lookin
If you got the money, Quest is for the bookin
