Excited to see this from Roslyn. Not taking it sitting down.

Looks like Roslyn locked off the wrong player.
Yeah aiello lynch melkonian had great game Roslyn hold west and dipetro to one assist not south side best game on defense but on to manhasset should be a good game

So if Manhasset wins and they're all 1-1 against each other I assume power league standings will be used to seed the Bs?

Obviously I'm pulling for my Tigers but this is a tough one. We're accustomed to getting most of the possessions and that's not likely against GC. I see this being a low scoring game with GC winning like 7-5.
I think that’s about right….i don’t think GC is a powerhouse this year, But Finnell seems to have a way of getting big improvements during the year every season. The lefty (Ottomanelli?) is their big gun so maybe if Northport has a D-Man who can contain him it’ll make a difference
4-1 GC at half. Trojans are shutting off Deliberti and he's only gotten off one shot.
Interesting comment. I've read similar posts quite often in the past. Obviously, Garden City is in for a rough time this year. Their record proves that. Well-nigh impossible to win with seven sophomores, four freshman and an eighth grader on the roster.

There's always next year.

So if Manhasset wins they are all 1-1 vs. each other.

GC would be 7-1 in league and be seeded first.
Manhasset and South Side would both be 6-2. Manhasset gets 2 seed on head to head.

If South Side wins:
South Side and GC tie at 7-1 South Side gets 1 seed on head to head.
GC is 2 seed.
Manhasset would be 5-3 and be 3 seed.

*All of this assumes that they all win all remaining games vs. other league opponents which is by no means a lock.
Barring this or an earlier playoff exit Manhasset is locked in to the 2 vs. 3 semifinal. They have no path to 1 seed.

I think South Side wins. Manhasset has had trouble generating offense all year. 2 leading players, Mondiello and Petrucelli were out last game; not sure if they’ll be back. And they will be at a big disadvantage on faceoffs.

I also think melkonian will have edge with face offs

Murf good to hear from you. I’ve seen way too much GC greatness in my lifetime…..they’re always excellent, and sometimes they are downright unbeatable. Having seen a couple games, this team strikes me as the former not the latter, I’ll stand by that opinion [and their 2 losses will back me up ;) ]. Doesn’t mean they can’t win states, and as I also said Finnell has a way of producing a finished product that is far better than what it looked like at the start of the year. I believe he and the Trojans do that better than anyone.

I didn’t realize the roster is that young either, which is a scary thing for the future. Enjoy the rest of the ride

Lots of interesting games on LI today.

Will there be any steaming for Manhasset-South Side? I don't think Varsity Media is covering it unfortunately.

Don’t know if it’s a late addition but it appears that Varsity Media Pass has it. Free.
