With 2 minutes left in the 3rd it was 13-2. If L'ville had scored one more goal before SA put some more on the board the game would have gone to running time, for goodness sakes. I didn't check jerseys but I suspect the L'ville squad moved in their 'younger' players who lost the 4th period 5-0.
I am stunned that the perennially 'top 3 to 5' St. Anthony's got beat so badly by ANY HS team.
Something is not right in the lacrosse universe...

I was there. It just got sloppy in the 4Q. Honestly, I was shocked at how basic the schemes St Anthony’s was running. Very clubby. Not much team offense. You aren’t going to beat a team with a defense of D1 recruits and a DC from Princeton, being reliant on simply 1 on 1 dodging

Two evenly matched, and obviously excellent, teams. I watched most of the whole thing, and I was never ready to bet on one team or the other.

I feel awful for the Friars, because they did everything they could, and I feel great for the Fords because someone had to win.

They are. I have tip my hat to their coach. Great game plan and he did a great scouting job. Goalie is really good (believe Duke commit)
