Loyola wins 16-12. A loss to Princeton would be devastating to Loyola's season.

And it appears that these games are being played at the same time. Irksome that no one consults with me about this stuff.
Is my ESPN not working or is Maryland game delayed??

whoops my bad game at 6:30

I anticipate the green card rules changing in the off-season. These plays right at the restraining line are just brutal.

Hopkins D getting good TO's but are getting killed turning the ball back over. D looks gassed.

This game will come down to which offense turns the ball over less. Holy.

Hopkins with a very active pick game but they are sooo packed into the 8.

This may have been addressed, is Maisy Clevenger hurt?

Yes, JHU not going to break on through turning the ball over so much.

Loyola looks pretty sharp. Look for a Princeton run in the second half??

Loyola are up 9-3 at halftime. Princeton’s offense has been poor and if they have any hope of clawing back into the game, they need to figure it out for the second half.

Definitely see what you're saying about packing it in the 8!

And possibly on Clevenger? I'm not sure, but would explain why Marshall & Lapointe are getting some more time

Wow, lovin' this Hop-Md game. High octane, fast paced, runnin', runnin', runnin'!!
Need a little something to mellow me out a little... oh wait, I'm good.
Ball moving quickly, really nice stuff.

A talented six footer from Manlius not at Cuse???
That aint right.

GKs putting on an exhibition.

Lotta time left but Hop's getting themselves in trouble.
10-6, Md, 9 min to go.
I want the Manlius girl going to the cage at this point if I'm the Hop coach.

Both GKs have had some great saves, but there’s also some really poor shot selection & placement happening on both sides.

Completely agree. Some good saves. A lot of poor shots. Especially by Hopkins in the second half. From what I've watched Edmondson doesn't look good defensively and is forcing it offensively. MD is doing better offensively because they are getting more shots off, but their shot efficiency is still very poor.

In this game, on this night—-Maryland was clearly the better team. If doucette doesn’t have her best game of the season, this is a romp by the terps….

It’s one game—-but it was marylands game

Poor shooting, turnovers, and the jinx from me predicting JHU would win.

And kind of a statement by Loyola. Boyle with 7 goals? WOW.

Slate today is a little less interesting.

Stetson vs Longwood
Liberty vs Notre Dame
W&M vs Stony Brook

All three could be a little lopsided. How many does ND hang on Liberty today? What's the over/under here?

Boyle had 8 goals and 7 DC's--I think that's where your error came in. Black had 5 goals, 5 assists, and 8 DC's. Loyola looked great in this one.

A subtext in the game was Blake vs. Boyle. Blake was NJ POY in 2021. The Star Ledger doesn’t reveal who also was in the running, but Boyle had to be either the runner-up or close to that. In my mind, either could’ve won the award.

Loyola has been getting good players from New Jersey for years. Old timers will remember Annie Allen. They have another real good one on the roster now (Jackson) who is out with an injury this year. And two more coming in the class of 2025, including a girl from Boyle’s high school.

Thanks. Jersey kids rack up 12 goals between them. Not bad….

Duke wins a tight one against Louisville 14-11.

Kokoro Nakazawa has had quite the year so far for the Cards - 50 goals and 21 assists for the senior from Japan

Blake and Boyle are fantastic. Boyle is the more my dynamic of the 2, but I still like watching them both play.

I would not want to play Loyola in the playoffs.
