Credit to Gerry for getting it scheduled. Also like how Coach Byrne has committed to Jordan Field. The sight lines in Harvard stadium are great, you are directly above the action. But Jordan being only lacrosse, and intimate as lax only is a great atmosphere. Good lacrosse weather forecasted, and should be a great Easter weekend crowd.

Harvard’s excellent attack will be tested by those athletic Velociraptors
Is Jordan turf or grass?
Don’t think there is a grass field north of Charlottesville

I was at the Virginia game. Harvard played an extremely strong game. Virginia's goalie, Nunez, had an amazing game, and even scored the game winning goal.

Harvard should be a tough match for any remaining team in the Ivy League.

This Harvard team is really close to putting it all together. I don’t think anyone predicted Harvard would be up 9-6 after three quarters, or that they would hold Shellenberger and Millon scoreless for the contest. Just need to click for all four quarters.

Great crowd, really high level of play.

Harvard cleared the ball very efficiently. At the game it seemed TOP in the 4th was tilted the Hoos way

The defense shocked me. They have not been very good, but that was a very encouraging performance. You play good defense in the Ivy League and you have a shot to win

Just saw the last half of the fourth quarter. Evidently Harvard outplayed UVA for more than three quarters. A very good team will miss the ILT this year.

UVA outplayed in the fourth..not sure what happened. UVA stars were really were flat too but they squeaked out the dub. Also why wasn't this game held in the stadium? Knowing it's a top ACC team traveling to New England and many people pre-purchasing tickets they must have know prior that attendance was going to exceed capacity. Jordan fills up real quick easily

Close and Virginia was outplayed for much of the game, but turned it on when they had to……is a 3 goal win, really squeaking by? Virginia finally dominated when they needed to……..

was the field the great equalizer or is UVA just bad at picking the correct shoes? Shellenberger was not impressive. Millon has to stop pressing. When UVA is struggling on offense Schutz needs the ball. harvard did a great job playing the picks and making them work against UVA and causing offense to get gummed up leading to turnovers.

Harvard hasn’t played in their football stadium in a few years. It’s old cold and empty with 3,000+ plus fans and lacks energy. Pretty sure Harvard was still selling tickets to anyone who was walking up to the gate through out the game. Similar to UVa, PLL, etc football stadiums make for a pretty poor lacrosse environment.

Another close loss yesterday means the Crimson will need some help to get into the Ivy League tournament. They have to win their remaining games (at Cornell, home vs Brown) and then hope that either (1) Cornell also loses to Dartmouth, or (2] Princeton loses its two remaining games (home vs Penn then at Yale).
