I have Matt Collison as 2nd team midfield,

M Traynor is set to play attack as of now,
not midfield.

Levi Anderson will also be at attack, not midfield.

Interesting to see Jake Titus, grad transfer from Union (D3) to Syracuse, on the HM list.

Whoever copied this list from USA lacrosse left Delaware’s Mike Robinson off the Honorable Mention list for some reason.

How about Zawada? If he plays attack does McAdorey or Williams move to midfield, or do they switch by quarters as Duke did a couple of years ago?

Zawada, who has a 77-point season on his resume, should start on attack with O'Neill and Dyson, with McAdorey coming out of the box. But I expect Dino Jr. to get this wrong.

Dyson and Zawada played attack at the Hill together. I watched something a month or so ago (maybe twitter?) and Dyson was complimenting Zawada's vision and how their chemistry hasn't skipped a beat. Heard a long time ago that Zawada flipped from Cuse to Michigan, because he was promised to be an attackman. While Desko thought he could play attack or middie. It's a different level in Durham, but I think he'll play attack.

And, personally, I like Mcadorey a lot more from the midfield.

Agree. If you cant get double digit GBs, I have a tough time considering you a midfielder.

He's had 25 gb's each of the last 3 seasons. 17 his freshman year. 92 on his career.

Anyway, I believe Levi is an attackman. They haven't changed his listing from Midfield on the roster since his Frosh year. He does flip between A/M but not that often. And in big games he starts at attack.

With the addition of Richie Lacalandra who will be the QB they have been needing the last few yrs they might mix Levi and him up some so he might play some midfield.

OK. I think their games are different and I wouldnt have Dobson on the first team either. I will admit bias on the midfield. I prefer the more rounded old school version. That will become more and more important as the shot clock gets shortened.

If Checo was on a name team, he'd be up high. But this list doesnt seem to consider much about normal improvements typically from freshman to soph (you could argue that Erksa should have been HM last year), Spanos' season stats weren't eye popping but his trajectory was pretty strong, plus it either forgot about Malever or assumed he won't be a top performer but Posey will be.

Whatever. What really matters now is that lax is back

I think Dobson makes a ton of sense in the first team for a few reasons. Have to take team composition into consideration having the Kavanaugh as down low the way they play.

BRW Loyola played (and listed on the roster) Poitras at midfield last year. If he were considered there he’d be higher/
