I think the past week's games were considered if P Kav was all year touted as among the best but made 2nd team. Probably right.

the coaches vote before the playoffs. outside of coachspeak, coaches don't really rank players publicly against each other.

Congratulations to Alex Mazzone, Russell Melendez, Matt Collison, Brett Martin, Scott Smith, and all the honorees!

Four All-Americans return to Johns Hopkins next season. :)

Especially pleased to see Matt Collison on the HM AA list. Confirms his status as one of the best young midfielders in the game.

Then that's prescient. I would have thought him over Dordevic too.

I just noticed that the names aren't alphabetical either. I wonder if the placement is by number of votes.

Some solid freshmen on this list,

I’m seeing Joe Spallina, Evan Plunkett, Matt Collison, Richard Checo.

Some freshman misses, could be due to all the fifth years,
Braden Erksa, Matt Municus, Silas Richmond, Finlay Thomson.

I’d expect that first group to dominate these year end awards in the next few years. That’s a 5 star, 4 star, 4 star and 4 star.

Have there always been 4 attackmen and 5 defenders on the first team?

Why are you asking a question you already know the answer to?
