I would go with Long then Makar. After that I would not be surprised if Tillman skips a year giving a player the #1.

This is Long and Makar’s last year. So only one of them is going to have the chance to wear it.

If they don’t think they have anyone to wear it, don’t hand it out. You don’t want it to become what the 22 did with Syracuse, where they were giving it out to give it out or try and force more juice out of a player by putting pressure on them, hoping they’d rise to it and it become just a drag. It can’t become a story all to itself.

Long or Makar (if kind of weird, it’s been an offensive number) would be good choices. Think both would wear it well. But we’re a month out. If they still haven’t decided a couple weeks from now, no one’s hurt by not wearing it

I doubt that. The shoe companies aren’t really in the business of NIL like that except for the top, top names in football or basketball. Don’t think they’re really chipping in anything for a lacrosse player.

Re: roster. I noted that Donal Mullane is listed as a Freshman even though he played a year at Bowdoin. How so?
