Week Three - 2022

There were two OT games this week. As a reminder, OT are decided like this:
If there is a tie, we look at the top point getting player on each team’s bench. Which ever is larger, gets the W.
If it’s a tie again, we go to the next bench player and next and next until we have a winner.
If it is still a tie after this, the win goes to the team with the highest scoring starting player and then the next highest scoring starting player and next and next until we have a winner.
If the game score is literally the exact same for both teams, we flip a coin.

Bottomline, DU-Fan beat OCanada with Logan Wisnauskas' 6 Points.
Matnum PI beats GreenieLax with Evan James' and Daniel Kelly's 3 Points.

Makes perfect sense to me. I like these rules.

If my team was a real team the strategy would be the following:

Defend pretty stoutly
GIVE THE BALL TO BRANDAU
Hope one of the middies goes off too, but only one a week lets not get greedy

It was nice to get a big game yesterday from Skalniak. OSU defense has also been good so far this season. Going in to yesterday, I was worried about a tie because TLD's Coulter Mackesy had a BIG game for Princeton, dominated lacrosse twitter Friday night and was on TLD's bench. Joe Robertson seems like he's struggling a bit now, which worked out well for me.
