When the Democrats lose Max Boot, you know they’re in trouble. Max is now an hysterical lib who obviously would tack back to being a neocon if he saw a path, but given that he and Jen Rubin are now the voices of the DNC’s media juggernaut, let’s see what he’s saying about the 2022 midterms.
His worries:
1. Inflation
Max says Democrats are so elitist, they look down on the American middle class who are nervous about the price of gas and other necessities.
2. Covid-19
Max thinks government has erred in its assessment. Time to go maskless.
3. Progressive Overreach
“I recently visited my alma mater, the University of California at Berkeley, and got an earful from friends about the excesses of “cancel culture,” the unwillingness of many progressives to confront crime and homelessness, and, above all, all the damage done by Zoom classes and mask requirements for young children.”
These are complaints from liberals!
“…the poll shows that registered voters prefer Republicans over Democrats in congressional races by 10 points. If the midterm elections were held today, the result would be a GOP landslide.”

Further to this, three great articles on one website today why Democrats are failing:
1. Using the FBI to investigate suburban moms. Seems like Merrick lied or has no control.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... lated.html
2. Liberal professors getting bolder…ODU professor admits a thing for minors.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... hiles.html
3. Liberal media slam the election of a liberal Asian as mayor, because they wanted a black candidate.

Biden offered to end overseas tax shelters used by elitists to hide their wealth from the tax man. Republicans declined to bring about this reform that would have easily ended the debt and inflation. Thus, Republicans created the problem but blame the Democrats for it. Naturally the Dems turn the other cheek rather than respond with the truth.
Maskless ~ yeah I remember your past post where you said that your tummy is better at dealing with germs than does a mask which can readily be washed.
"cancel culture" - Most country-western stations still don't play the Dixie Chicks albums. But they readily play Hank Williams, Jr even though he insulted Obama far more.
But I do agree with you that Republican can win 2022 because nobody in the Dem party bothers to say a word or two on behalf of Biden. As always, Republicans create the mess we see today such as inflation, the loss of the war they started in Afghanistan, homelessness, the lack of police reform that screws the cities and runs up their debts and skews crime stats, corporate welfarism that runs up the nation's debt, etc. But they succeed in blaming the Dems for the mess they create. Meanwhile, the Dems turn the other cheek and kiss up Republican butt cheeks. Interestingly, the only group that has anything good to say about Biden is the Republican Lincoln Project. This is why a win in 2022 would not come as a surprise to me.

Before Max went full neocon over Iraq & Afghanistan, he wrote an entertaining short history of US military actions short of full scale war -- The Savage Wars of Peace.
Max is also apologizing to former Sec Def Esper for calling him "Yesper", now that the tell all books detail all the good work he did during trying times.
I hate to give Bezos any more $, but it might be worth renewing the WP just to watch Max crawl back.

Max and all the other lying grifting spineless ‘former Republicans’ like the Lincoln Project losers are the absolute sleaziest, most repulsive, most amoral and most sickening cretins in politics. The lowest of the low. These snakes fleece their liberal donors, they cover up for sexual predators of minors, and they perpetrated a racist fraud to try to swing an election. These are completely amoral actors, but to a liberal, the former R star means no disqualification is possible…

The Latino red wave. Ignore it at your peril.
If Latinos abandon the Democrats like they’ve been doing recently, the DNC is finally and gratefully put down forever, and we can get back to being a beacon of freedom and hope to the world, not a smoldering Antifa inferno of anti American wokeness.
Latinos don’t like being called Latinx, let’s start there. They also are family oriented, religious, and quite proud to be American. The Democratic Party is the opposite of all that.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson ... p-n2599115
“Hispanic Republicans, especially women, have become something of political rock stars in South Texas after voters in the Rio Grande Valley shocked leaders in both parties in November by swinging sharply toward the G.O.P. Here in McAllen, one of the region’s largest cities, Mr. Trump received nearly double the number of votes he did four years earlier; in the Rio Grande Valley over all, President Biden won by just 15 percentage points, a steep slide from Hillary Clinton’s 39-point margin in 2016. That conservative surge — and the liberal decline — has buoyed the Republican Party’s hopes about its ability to draw Hispanic voters into what has long been an overwhelmingly white political coalition and to challenge Democrats in heavily Latino regions across the country.”
“ Republicans in Texas celebrated on Monday after winning two closely watched mayoral elections in the state on Saturday, taking control of cities in Democratic counties. The party was particularly buoyed by its performance in McAllen, a border city of 143,000 that is 85 percent Hispanic, where Javier Villalobos, a former chairman of the local Republican Party, defeated a candidate backed by local Democrats by 206 votes out of 9,282 cast. Texas Republicans, including Gov. Greg Abbott, hailed Mr. Villalobos’s victory as part of a larger political realignment of Hispanic voters that revealed itself in the 2020 election, when President Biden drastically underperformed against expectations, and previous Democratic margins, in several Texas border counties with large numbers of Hispanic voters.”
The future is bright, folks.

Between Youngkin and Rittenhouse, I really feel the tide has turned.
It’s a long way to next November, but this is as good a feeling as any patriot has had in a life time.
I realize the Democrats will continue to intimidate patriots with the FBI as their gestapo, but all that does in the end is make the patriotic half of the country even more resolved to swamp the polls next fall. Th feds raided a moms house in Colorado the other day, dragging her 5 year old girl by the hood of her sweatshirt. 30 heavily armed agents…this abuse of power must stop, and it will be a rallying cry by Republicans shortly.
https://www.aspentimes.com/news/silt-wo ... -fbi-raid/
The great thing is, as Democrats have agitated for earlier and earlier voting, Independants will cast ballots early next fall, taking as much as two months off of the calendar for Democrats to change their downward trajectory,

Sometimes I find it amazing we live in a country where people openly advocate for communism.
Other times, I’m simply reminded that 50% of the Democratic Party has repeatedly confirmed in polls that they favor socialism over capitalism.
This helps explain why Latinos are fast abandoning the Democratic Party.

Now back to reality after Goebbels' delusional rants.
Maryland is due to elect a new governor next year. Hogan is done. The republican primary is going to be interesting for a change. It is always boring, there is no competition inside the party generally. But we have new blood running for the position, a Qanon member who will take on Hogan's hand picked choice. The fireworks has just begun.

It is almost a shame Hogan has to go, he has pivoted the state, subtly correcting the red listing of the ship, without causing damage to the ship. Sure we can pick nits, but by and large he has done a solid job. Someone like Cox, could surely come in a muck it all up. Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah
