The horrible events of 17 years ago will always burn in my heart and mind. It is truly sad how many people forget these events. I never will.

Drudge report and Huffpost have nothing, WashPost shows it's TDS in it's one mention. CNN promotes Democratic candidates & ties to 9/11 in one of it's articles. No mention of the victims or the lawsuit against Saudi Arabia in articles. The JUSTA lawsuit is moving forward. Obama's only veto override.
Larry Silverstein lost his last money grab case this summer.

Sorry for the politics, but , yeah...ANGRY about this and the money trail.

Perhaps Obama was expecting millions from the Saudi government to head into his foundations bank account, just like it did for Bush and Clinton.

The Saudi government has engaged many lobbying firms to fight JASTA, but one stands at the epicenter of the veterans lobbying scandal: Qorvis MSLGROUP. According to witness accounts and investigations by 28Pages.org and others, Qorvis and associated individuals have:

Misled veterans, convincing them that, if other countries pass their own versions of JASTA, individual U.S. service members would face lawsuits in foreign courts.
Provided veterans with all-expenses-paid trips to Washington to lobby against JASTA, without disclosing that Saudi Arabia was behind the effort.
Concealed Saudi sponsorship of the lobbying effort from members of Congress and their staffs.
Failed to add required disclosures of Saudi sponsorship to informational and recruiting communications used in the campaign.
Engaged many individuals in the anti-JASTA effort who failed to register with the Department of Justice (DOJ) as agents of the Saudi government.
Failed to submit reports to the DOJ outlining specific lobbying activities performed for and disbursements made on behalf of Saudi Arabia.

Now it has come out in excruciating detail. It certainly appears that Manafort received undisclosed money from the Ukrainian government or its business allies, and maybe it was laundered offshore. If true, and it has looked that way for a while, that's bad. But if you're going to indict and prosecute lobbyists for failing to disclose their activities, roughly half of Washington would be under arrest. Manafort actually should get points for ever filing and disclosing anything at all, although he didn’t in the case of Ukraine. The Center for Public Integrity, again in the early 1990s, reported that only about half of foreign lobbyists bother filing under FARA, and it's surely gotten worse since then.
