Why?

As Ram mentioned. You have to solicit for an appointment from elected officials, get interviewed by them, submit a very detailed application, go through in admission interview by a school rep. All this easily takes an added 6 months to a year or more.

Service academies could officially begin contacting 2023’s today, and @ArmyWP_MLax just landed a big one: Hill Plunkett, A, Roswell (Ga.) / @ThunderLacrosse, who will follow his brother, Evan ‘21. He was a @ShowtimeLax All-Star last week and among the top playmakers at the event.

Why?

I hadn't been aware of that rule...but we're talking about rising juniors, right?
It's not as if any of them actually applies to the school, any school, until a full year from now at the earliest.

Taft 4-star '22 middie Ben Spinelli switched from Notre Dame to Penn State according to IL's database. He had previously switched from Brown to Notre Dame.

Yeah he flipped Ryan O'Connor from Villanova too. Ryan is vastly underrated. One of the best LSM's in the country in my opinion.
