Thought 23’s could not commit until the fall
Re: Official 2022 & 2023 DI Recruiting Commitments Thread
I’m guessing this is for de-commits,
2022s.

Service academies get a head start on the 23s starting July 1, right?

Yes service academies can start committing July.

Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to do the dishes.

As Ram mentioned. You have to solicit for an appointment from elected officials, get interviewed by them, submit a very detailed application, go through in admission interview by a school rep. All this easily takes an added 6 months to a year or more.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Per Xanders’ twitter
Service academies could officially begin contacting 2023’s today, and @ArmyWP_MLax just landed a big one: Hill Plunkett, A, Roswell (Ga.) / @ThunderLacrosse, who will follow his brother, Evan ‘21. He was a @ShowtimeLax All-Star last week and among the top playmakers at the event.

I live down in Atlanta and this kid is legit.
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, Malcolm
See Jesus, Judas; Caesar, Brutus
See success is like suicide

I hadn't been aware of that rule...but we're talking about rising juniors, right?youthathletics wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 12:40 pmAs Ram mentioned. It's not as if any of them actually applies to the school, any school, until a full year from now at the earliest.
Or am I missing something?

2023 attackman Alec Gregorek, from Shoreham Wading River High School in NY, has committed to Navy. Have any of you seen him play?

Taft 4-star '22 middie Ben Spinelli switched from Notre Dame to Penn State according to IL's database. He had previously switched from Brown to Notre Dame.

Yeah he flipped Ryan O'Connor from Villanova too. Ryan is vastly underrated. One of the best LSM's in the country in my opinion.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 2:56 pm Taft 4-star '22 middie Ben Spinelli switched from Notre Dame to Penn State according to IL's database. I guess not.... “The U.S. Naval Academy is everything I wanted in a school in every way,”
