Themselves and Democrat victimhood/entitlement programs. We aren't an equal society. Yes we all have equal opportunity to succeed, some have it harder than others but the opportunity to do well is equal across the board. The majority of the black community has been enslaved by the Democrats. But even they can succeed. The problem is the Democrats don't want them to because they want them to be dependent on handouts to continue voting for them. The poor whites you speak of are a very small % of the overall white pop in the US. And some are very much content with their lives. This also isn't totally a black issue. Many whites, and hispanics have succomb to the Democrat plantation because why leave it? They receive free stuff for not working.

How about counter my point above? You can't. It is fact.
You make statements without supporting them with links and facts....It's been tried. Talking to the wall is a waste of time.
Ok. so why even chime in? I have made numerous posts with links and facts. You just failed to respond to them because you can't refure them. They get buried in the thread because all you liberals want to do is change topic and post stupid memes. Good riddance. Bye bye

Except what you say is completely false and you don't back any of it up. richard wasn't getting emotional, you're projecting. No reason to get mad bro.

You say a lot of things you can't and don't back up with any actual information.

Poor whites in red states that are ran by Republicans aren't 'enslaved by Democrats'. They're getting handouts by their socialist Republican governments. Just see the farm bills that get passed.

Blacks historically have had systemic racism keeping them down, by both the government and the private sector. You couldn't get a home loan in a lot of areas even if you could afford it. You couldn't get good jobs, you couldn't go to good schools. Many massively racist policies were just 1-2 generations ago. They didn't have any bootstraps to pull themselves up by.
Systemic racism? Give me a break. America and the West were at the forefront of ending slavery. Try hanging in the Middle East as a Christian. See how that works for you. Why are Asian Americans doing very well? How about the Irish? The Italians? Every group of people throughout human history has been enslaved by others, their own kind and taken over. In America, numerous races have been persecuted against. The biggest mass lynching in the US was committed against Italians. The Irish were treated arguably lower than slaves in some cases. Asian Americans were interned during WW2. Sad situation but Asians don't play the victim card. They have sound morals and work ethic. They understand the importance of a two parent household. The Democrats sadly have made it their life work to keep blacks down, they've replaced the father with a welfare check, play the race card and in effect keep them dependent on gov and their voter rolls. If Dem policies worked, their would be no more Dem voters.

Back to the topic. Since Kaep took a knee a few years ago, opening game ratings have fallen 25% for the NFL. But it's just a coincidence right?

Stay WOKE go BROKE.

Since Kap took a knee:
Trump was elected
NFL ratings are way down
ESPN ratings are way down. Layoff 300+? Employees
The number of unarmed black men shot hasn’t changed, but is still very rare. (Note from me, 34 unarmed people have been shot and killed by police in 2018 so far. 17 are white, 13 black, 4 are Hispanic).
Riots increased over all sorts of issues.
Trust and respect for police officers is way down.
Nike shares are down.
But Kap’s own personal net worth and social impact are drastically higher. No non football fan could’ve told you who he was before this. That’s Kardashian level marketing.
And we’ve all lost something as Americans in the process.

Oh, I think instead of letting private citizens decide what they can and cannot do, the NFL should do as Bandito is suggesting, and just sing the government leader Trump song for two hours, and not play football at all.

Why play sports? It's a waste of time that could be better spent pledging loyalty to government leader Trump.

Hey Bandito, do you have any songs handy that we could sing to celebrate government leader Trump?

Let us know. Thanks.

The idea that cops are killing innocent unarmed black men is false too. You are more likely to die by a lightning strike (1/900,000) than being an unarmed black man dying at the hands of a cop (1/3,240,000). Not surprisingly, SJW's are silent about abortion (leading cause of deaths in the black community every year) and black on black murder and crime which is rampant throughout every major city in the US- Oh yea those cities are run by Democrats. Black men make up about 6% of the population in the US but commit over 50% of the violent crime in this country.

Keady? A Catholic theologian chastising Nike for its treatment of children in factories?

That takes some stones, doesn't it?

That’s impossible. Tiger has not bashed the POTUS and said you have to respect the office! Wasn’t Tiger’s Dad a military guy? I know Kaep says his stance is not anti-military but the President says otherwise and the President is always right. I am burning my Tiger Woods gear!

Well, they do vote Republican. That explains it all. And this doesn't even include all the corporate welfare queens who live off the public dole by way of three martini lunches.

Really have zero idea as to what you are asking. Many Katholics posting here (Jesuits) so it sounds like they should not be listened too, especially when it comes to childrens rights? That is my take.

Meanwhile, the steadfast slavers called "globalists" don't care word one about humanity. Stay until the end, Nike's philosophy has long been scum. Stay until the end of this video

What the heck does food stamps, welfare and political parties have to do with nike? Unless, of course, you wanna go down in the dirt and look at Nike's political donations. But you won't. Paul Ryan got $5200 for the 2018 mid term elections :o Unless their is another Paul Ryan from Wisconsin, I thought he was retiring? Wanna take a guess as to which members of congress own Nike stock? Especially the members that love illegals.

Tebow knelt to protest something he believes is WRONG. Kaepernick knelt to protest something he believes is WRONG. One did so while "after victory" music (the UF fight song) was playing and one did so while different music was playing.

Both chaps are unemployed QBs.And neither chaps race is an issue.

What the heck does the NIKE free-enterprise marketing colossus have to with kneeling?

Bill Clinton's welfare reform programs are probably the most enduring (positive) legacy of his administration. At the time, there was no other politician with the standing to make the improvements he spearheaded.

neither does, and the parallel is insightful - Nike decided the virtue signalling of their ad campaign was going to improve/enhance their brand. Based on sales figures I have read about - they were right.

Levi's is making a similar bet along the lines of gun rights virtue signalling - I guess they figure that the 2nd Amendment types are all in for Wranglers and Levi's is therefore left with the urban market? Otherwise, their position makes absolutely no sense at all.
STILL somewhere back in the day....

Good to see Nike's campaign is a success and that it is helping to focus public attention on the injustices that Kaepernick has been referring to rather than on the reich wing's attempts to stifle his right of free speech.
