This guy - Holden Deck - got plucked,
by Dartmouth.

Here’s another,
another top player out of Edge Lacrosse Canada,

Matthew Collison,
a Grant Jr. clone, Hens ?

More likely, closer to Mark Matthews, attack middie hybrid, 6’4” 215, already has all the moves,
a 2022, so eligible for recruiting in about 1 month’s time.

Ben McIntosh, back in Philly.
Saskatchewan Rush and Philadelphia Wings
stole some of the spotlight from potential
signings with a huge trade involving righty forwards Ben McIntosh and Josh Currier.
No other CAAers on the latest version of the
Wings, but several high profile DI players,
Matt Rambo, Trevor Baptiste.

Nice pickup for Hens, solid 2021 D man.

some other schools.

Drexel posted their 2021 roster, not including of course incoming freshmen yet.

All this past season’s top seniors are returning.
Matt Varian and Reid Bowering are listed as graduate students, Jimmeh Koita, Collin Mailman,
returning.

Nice.
Hens get this 2021 commit, a goalie, 4 star,
pulled him from Richmond Spiders.

In April of 2017, Hofstra was undefeated and ranked #6 nationally. They lost a couple of close, late-season games while Towson had a terrific team that made it into the NCAA semi-finals.

Here is a good perspective from Seth Tierney
on Josh Byrne,
Josh began his career at the junior college
level, came to play for us at Hofstra, and
then was drafted into the NLL. If he had
been lackadaisical and careless while
playing in junior college, if he hadn’t
given it his all, he would not have made
it onto my radar.

Sconone came out of the University of Massachusetts and finished his senior season with a save percentage of 61.5% and ranked third in Division I with a 8.61 goals against average. Sconone won the Markland Kelly Award as the nation’s most outstanding goalie in 2019 and became the first player in the program’s history to win one of the five major awards.

Despite having an outstanding collegiate career, Sconone went undrafted in the 2019 MLL Collegiate Draft. He was picked up by the Dallas Rattlers in June, 2019, where he immediately impacted the success of the team, earning him the 2019 Goalie of the Year award
UMass’ Sconone named MLL goaltender of year.

I am a huge Sconone fan, and I'm not even from UMass. Reminds me of Locasio. Can't help but wonder why he is not in the PLL ... he is so much better than most of the PLL goalies I watched last week(s). Of course, I think there was a lot of cronyism in making the PLL player pool, there is no way Galloway, Queener or Rodgers (to name three, and especially Queener who was cut by two MLL teams in 2017) are better than Sconone, but maybe Rabil brought guys he thought would draw viewers.

Drexel’s entire roster posted including incoming
freshmen, Drexel has 24 freshmen on their roster,
half the roster, with all the reclassified freshmen
from last year.
This year’s roster is stacked. Three of the
freshmen are de-commits from Air Force,
one of which was on some of the earlier
top 100 lists.

Shocked LoCascio never won college goalie of the
year, but he had some good competition in those
years,
but LoCascio was recognized, making both the
college and NLL Halls of Fame.

Begley, Dumas and Donnelly are the most interesting of the younger/newer guys, but you follow various HS programs more than I do 10. Notice a couple from IMG and pretty diverse geography as well as some pedigree HS programs. CAA needs to lookout this spring if we have one.

Yeah, those guys, and Tommy Marcoon was an Air
Force commit and top xx recruit at one point.

I just think, the service academies, no knock on
them at all of course, but more sheer numbers
wise, they can’t even keep players on their prep
squads, I’d expect a lot of schools to talk to these
service academy recruits — Army, Navy, Air Force,
they are really getting top recruits.

With a heap of talent and experience on both ends, Delaware could be the surest thing in the CAA in 2021.

Three CAA finals under Voelker, Tanner.

One of the better unknown players in the CAA is
Ryan Genord, who was on his way to a likely 1st
team CAA midfield spot last year.

I like Drexel (season pending) if they can get a handle on the defensive side.

Could happen.

Course, a lot of top seniors returning, Charlie Kitchen, Ryan Tierney, Beckwith, Trainor at UMass.
