ok, i would be tangentially interested in what randomized controlled trials was talking about. did he reference any?njbill wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 8:33 pm Fauci at the hearing today on HQC:

Also said the recent Henry Ford study was a “flawed trial.”
No, I didn’t pay him.

the only what seemed like legitimate trial was out of spain, though small. people sent to the hospital down 25%, average symptom length was 10 days vs 12 days for a total of 293 patients, and they gave it at a median of 3 days after symptoms (early). but given the total numbers measured that wasn't impressive enough (if they did it a dozen or a 1000 times it could've come out differently). unfortunately, the trial participants were young on average, so low numbers were going to be the result of hospitalizations anyway. no deaths either side. those are the 2 things that are most important imo, but maybe that's just me.

about a month + ago, nih/niaid shut down their early treatment hcq randomized clinical trial. it was supposed to measure 2,000 patients and give us a look. unfortunately, despite their very best efforts and scouring the country looking for participants to volunteer for the trial, they could only find 20 lunatics across the u.s.a. willing to take a 50% chance of taking this killer drug:

nothing to see here. move along. internationally, they'll still be posting results, hope they may be clinical trials. did fauci say which trials he was talking about?
