NY- Section XI (Suffolk)- 2020

Post by DeepPocket »

Despite losing a lot on the offensive end, I expect big things from Bay Shore with Tingue (UMBC) entering his senoir year in net.

Who do you like coming in?

Looks like an already pretty deep SWR squad got even stronger this week...

Penn State bound middie, Bobby McGee, transferred from St. Anthony's back to his home district.

Last season, he was credited (per Newsday) with eight goals and two assists for a total of 10 points.

While McGee has yet to emerge as that impact performer that many thought he could be in South Huntington, the potential remains present...As a youth, he was an essential presence in leading Legacy to the 2016 World Series of Youth Lacrosse crown, posting team-highs in goals (18) and points (27).

BS has two returning defenders with Tingue, a competition for LSM and Fogo. Only Tingue is a graduating from D in 20. 2 '24 goalies in the wings. Offense is buried in the underclassmen '22. Bay Shore will see community kids do great things in Catholics. Imagine if only Bonafede Laudy and Oniel were there for offense. Had Zummo been offered BS job 4-5 years ago, the landscape of A on Li would be a different story. BS should see a bright future as the coaches are now involved with travel.

Cant make much of 2020 without knowing each teams rankings.

Arline had an OUTSTANDING final appearance on the gridiron!

Nassau County Spring Sports have been approved, they start on 4/19/21. Really looking forward to watching SET this season, they have a ton of young talent led by Joey Terenzi

Murf,

What are you thinking about this year's team? I expect them to play Syosset, Massapequa, GC, Farmingdale, Wantagh and some other surprises. Hoping they will be able to play a few Section 11 Teams. I am still holding out hope they can make it work with John Jay and Darien but I realize Darien is probably less likely for this year only. Thoughts?

Forgive me but I have no idea to which team do you refer? I'm pleased that there will be games this year.

I was referring to Manhasset. I am referring to Manhasset, I thought on back on LaxPower you used to make many posts about them? Maybe I'm getting confused with another poster...

Absolutely loaded on offense. 2021s committed to Michigan, Colgate, Marquette, and Amherst. 2022s committed to UVA, Cornell, Bryant, and Air Force.

Just imagine that offense in 2022 if they kept hometown kids Balsamo (Chaminade/Duke), Alacqua (Chaminade/Cornell), and Magee (OSU/Loveyjoy in Texas, but grew up in Manhasset I believe).
