Prospects for W&L in 2020. Is this a team that’s built to play in May? Despite the loss of AJ, it’s conceivable that they may be as productive offensively. A key component of their offense and D has been Londrey and Hodgson winning face offs. They will get the ball, so the O will have their chances. Mize is just scratching the surface of what he might be. With so much depth at midfield, might Greenspon move back to attack? Like to see how that might look.There’s some real talent in the rising Soph class.Have to get Weaver more PT his numbers are too good. Like him to be the third attackman with Mize and Greenspon should he move be to attack. The Gennies only return 6 close D men, 3 of whom are rising sophomores. Gotta believe Koch will have them ready. Looking forward to another 16 game win season or better....

The good news is that the expectations for the team are high. This team knows how to win, and expects to win close games. That's a great mentality to bring to a season. Offensively and at the faceoff x, they should be fine, as you mention. But there will be a lot of new faces on defense. Koch is a great coach, so no doubt he will have them ready to play, but defensive chemistry takes a long time to build.

Believe me, I hope you are correct. However, the team was 2-3 in one goal games last year. So they may expect to win close games, but those expectations have not always come to fruition.

In July I posted I had concerns about Corrigan getting a call from Harvard. That has happened and is a bigger hit to the program than just your typical assistant. Hoping they can acquire another outstanding assistant
BTW anybody catch the PLL? There are only 6 teams and 1/3 of the coaches are from a specific team from the ODAC ......Stagnitta and St. Laurent not bad

What’s the chances that Josh Breece goes out for the lax team after football season is over his senior year. Three freshman on the football team were high school lax players , Luke Alison ( brother plays lax @ W&), FJ Hog, and David Oneyjekwe wonder which of these players might find the lacrosse field as well. Breece could be a ssdm immediately

Intra squad scrimmage this past weekend. Thought the team looked good for only a few days of practice. A few of the young D looked good. Ball movement was good and fast. Appears to be lots of depth

They have moved some kids around position wise too. One of the attackman is now a ssdm and one of the goalies is now an LSM. Big team too, looks like close to 60 kids

Always thought they had athletes that could be utilized in other roles. An attackman to ssdm and goalie to LSM,Which players? Would the Generals ever webcast the VMI game.

Greenspon only play Attack but that just seems to be a continuation of the end of last year

Greenspon to attack with Mize is the correct move, curious to see who will be the third option there. The Generals are so deep at midfield Greenspon wasn’t necessary there. Hoping those with injuries from last season are back at 100 %. Curious to see if there’s a freshman like Mize last year who will be impactful, which sophomores will be stepping up..... Looks like a newly formatted stat program for the team. Unless I’m missing it, it lacks a page showing an individual’s stats per game in a single column, you have to dig it out in each box score. Decent weather for Friday’s game!

Looked like Taylor Witherall and MacCowatt were getting a lot of run at the 3rd A spot. One freshman had a couple nice goals and has decent size, can't recall his name.

Third guy has to be Weaver, 35 pts shoots 40%. Can’t have an attackman starting with about a 26% shooting rate, that’s what you got last year. Have to post roster
