We can't really complain about the commitment flips and changes, this happens all the time in all other NCAA sports why would lacrosse be any different?

Jack Taylor, from Denver to ND.

Marco Napolitano, BU to ND.

BU has 5 incomers that were "flipped" or previously committed the '19 class
Albany has 2 in the '19 and already 2 in the '20
Denver even a few years back Tierny speaking out against "poaching" has Baptiste decommit spring of his SR year. They have a decommit coming in as well

This is just common practice now

Yeah, nothing new.
Yet, good to track, especially if there are high profile recruits.

The bigger loses were Dylan Pallonetti and Luke Wierman.

The Minto Cup finals are set, with Victoria the surprise rep out of the BC Jr A’s.
No real representation out of the CAA in the final two teams, with the exception of Zach Manns, who actually decided to forego additional college for the NLL, go pro.
But several CAA players had good box seasons.
Cornell’s Jonathan Donville is the player to watch in the Minto Cup.
Detroit-Mercy beast Kyle Waters is another, maybe the Detroit coaches will consider giving Waters some PT this year.

The 2019 rosters should be filling out shortly, another 30 days or so as fall semester begins.

But looking ahead.
There are some good CAA recruits for 2020 I’m noticing. No particular criteria, just going through individual team commits, here’s an interesting 2020. Looks like he fits the bill for a standard Towson SSDM, Travis Maynard out of NC, passed on UNC, and also wears a #14 jersey.

Yes I love how physical he is. He is very reminiscent of the #14 that just graduated. He definitely fits the Nads mold of tough kids.

Great middie that seems to fit the prototype of a player Towson through the years. Tough public school kid that that entered Towson with no personal high school accolades. He was a great player that led them to the National Championship game.

To whom are you specifically referring? Just curious. Kids without any personal accolades in high school are rare in D3 no less D1 at this point.

Inside Lacrosse look ahead to NLL possible draftees.

A couple of ex CAAers — Zach Manns, Dylan Kinnear — and also some others on the list who seemed taylor made for CAA play but instead decided on the pro box route.

I still don’t see how D1 teams let Andrew Kew “slip” to D2 - grades, I suppose, Kew is projected as the 2nd pick.

https://www.tampaspartans.com/sports/ml ... 0?view=bio

But Tampa had a Division 1 caliber attack with players like Kew, Chris Vetter who had played at Towson and Connor Whipple dnp at Georgetown.

Another Philadelphia tie in.
Fairfield added St. Joe’s Charles Guinta to the coaching staff.
Guinta “coached up” freshman face off man Zach Cole last year.

Fun scrimmage Feb 1. Delaware @ DU. Both schools have 5 Canadians on roster. Good timing for your Canucks. DU hockey at home that weekend against 2 time defending National Champs Minnesota-Duluth.

That's awesome. I believe the Hen's took in a Denver hockey game the night before the scrimmage two years ago. Sounds like a fun trip.

And of course, this year the Tigers go to Denver for the obligatory one goal differntial game.

Pios now have three players on the roster from Danville CA, and a 4th who graduated this past year.

Hint: there is yet another (could be) top recruit out of Danville, just became eligible, a junior now. Maybe a future Pio ?

The IL beauty contest for this season is complete.
Namely, who are the 100 top incoming freshmen.

IL totally missed last year, where Tye Kurtz was a top 10 freshman.

So they hedged this year, Michael Robinson, Justin Sykes both made the list.

But IL missed on many other good incoming freshmen, including, Ben Stewart, Reed Kurtz, John Wright, Evan Long, Jordan Hayes, Ben Rivera, Justin Carte.

And of course Taite Cattoni is joining the Dutch this year.
