i give them more of a shot vs. lakers than most probably do based on their level of play lately.

Re: UNC 2021
Spo is a great coach. I'd have him in my top 5 current NBA coaches for sure, maybe top 3.
Re: UNC 2021
In 2021, North Carolina returns one of the best offenses in the nation and has serious Championship Weekend potential.

First real confirmation I've seen that all the really important seniors from 2020 will be returning for the 2021 season.

With Sowers and Solomon holding down the x and right hander's spots and Cameron slated as the starting lefty with Trippi in the mix at either attack or midfield, where does Jacob Kelly, who started over Cameron for a while as a freshman fit in? I wonder if the overabundance of a lefty attackmen had anything to do with Kelly's younger brother David's decision to go to Maryland instead of UNC.
Re: UNC 2021
Maryland is not exactly short of lefty attackmen: Wisnauskas, N.DeMaio, Malever, J.Koras,... An article at the time of his signing tended to indicate that D.Kelly just liked UMD.molo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 5:33 pm With Sowers and Solomon holding down the x and right hander's spots and Cameron slated as the starting lefty with Trippi in the mix at either attack or midfield, where does Jacob Kelly, who started over Cameron for a while as a freshman fit in? Re: UNC 2021
Watched both weekend scrimmages this fall ball season, Jacob Kelly was at times the best attackmen on the field. Vision, willingness to share the ball, and communication skills and leadership make him the perfect compliment to Gray. If the best 10 will play, he'll be on the field.
Re: UNC 2021
Yep. Jacob Kelly actually started every game as a freshman. He was dealing with an injury this past spring though. I doubt he will have any trouble getting playing time if he is healthy.

I'd think what type of offense is being used would be a big factor in what that role is (dodging/on-ball, wing shooter, creaseman?). Hammer, what did they run?Hammer44 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 7:26 am Watched both weekend scrimmages this fall ball season, Jacob Kelly was at times the best attackmen on the field. Re: UNC 2021
As they both were scrimmages, simply a lot of motion with lots of improvisation. I saw some middies running invert, and lots of transition O as the play was spirited and ground balls were mine wars. They are talented athletically....and unlike recent Heel teams...they are BIG!NElaxtalent wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 10:00 amI'd think what type of offense is being used would be a big factor in what that role is (dodging/on-ball, wing shooter, creaseman?). Nice article about 5th year senior Justin Anderson. He’s got a busy season to look forward to. Can’t wait for the season to start!

Thanks for posting that. Time flies. I remember when he was a rising sophomore in HS. He’s another reason for me to root for UNC. Are we ever going to get a schedule?
Re: UNC 2021
If the home opener is against Denver then the game is 10 days away. No game-time posted online. Fans? Awful sports/lacrosse communications from unc.
Re: UNC 2021
Watch ESPN has an ACC game listed on Sun. the 7th,
no teams listed though,
it is on ACC network, so you’d need to be subscribed
to that which if you have YouTube TV, you should be
able to get it, 1 PM eastern, unless its another game,
I’ll assume this is Denver @ UNC,
