Gotta figure he just doesn't wanna follow in any of his family's footsteps. More power to him. But I absolutely did not see that one coming at all. Didn't even have Denver on the radar period. Wow.

He'll fit well in that motion-heavy DU offense. Won't be asked to beat defenders 1-on-1 very often.

He’s exactly what they need. They haven’t add a guy truly capable of beating the best defenseman one-on-one in 3-4 years. Walker will be a lot more happy getting to play off ball and shoot it as opposed to dodging. Their offense has been stagnant for awhile, this will give them a jolt

Walker is also more comfortable dodging from the wing, so this lets him draw slides and swing the ball through X, where Morrill is good at diagnosing the rotations.

Regarding that last tidbit on Hubler - I guess that means withdrew from the portal and not “withdrew” from school??? Some words can have very different potential meanings when describing this transfer portal process.

Likely depends if one had a good job lined up or not after graduation. If you do then could be hard to forgo given the uncertainty that prevails.

Everyone is talkng mostly the benefits of seniors doing an extra year and transfers pumping programs up ...... but can’t that just as likely cause more discontent? and chemistry problems? I guess next season we will find out if teams were helped or hurt. It’s making me realize why Bill Belichek likes the later draft classes. They are hungry and ready to prove something.
