Made a number of additions to the list. Also, Cole Boland got accepted to Denver's Real Estate school but not sure if he's playing there.

Still not sure about Hobart's Delpha and Scott but I think they're both going to stay.

I was kidding, should’ve posted a link. There’s a guy named Dudley Mafee who played lacrosse and is into WWF in a show called Billions written by Andrew Ross Sorkin on showtime (starring Paul giamatti, Brodie from homeland, the lovely woman who’s Tara in Sons of Anarchy and gale who sings Major Tom before getting shot in Breaking Bad). Spelled the same too.

Got it, though pretty sure that’s what the update had previously and got cleaned up (I.e. listed as Mafee)

There’s too many of them and not enough room for all of them and the incoming recruited class and returning seniors. They’ve just gotten squeezed out by the NCAA decision to give a blanket waiver for an extra season. I think we will see a lot of unhappy players on sidelines. Players that expected to finally get on the field more but won’t.

Okay. And I'm hoping this means that no non-fictional past or present lacrosse player has been given "Dudley" as a first name.

Haven’t seen.
Not on the Roster, though a blog indicated he
could return,

if not, Bart’s a good option, if you ask me.

Hobart hasn’t historically done a ton with transfers with notable exceptions being Brendan Saylor, Jamie Kirk and Mark Williamson over the past two decades plus. Last movement between Hofstra and Hobart I can recall was Brad Obloj going back home from Hobart to Hofstra in the last 90s and doing pretty well for the Dutch, maybe even all conference.

I posted this the other day:

Lehigh - Yoon (goalie) —>Tufts

What are the rules about transferring DI to DIII if you are not in the transfer portal prior to transferring? Just curious.

Not sure.... athletes request to enter the portal so they can freely communicate with other programs about potential transfer. I believe that’s mandated by the NCAA. Not sure it matters with D3 since they don’t give athletic scholarships. Compliance staff would be able to answer this. I think it would be considered a violation from D1 to D1.

Now that rosters are up to include transfers and freshman, two Canisius Griffs that were in the portal have reportedly landed: M- Andrew Johnson, local boy from Amherst, has transferred to Ohio State where he will try and walk-on although is not currently listed on the Buckeye's current roster and G - Cade Talbert has returned home to Boise and I'm told he is done with lacrosse and is training to be a commercial pilot. Good luck to both former Griffs in their pursuits!
