Mercer to Syracuse to Lemoyne. I think the original poster is confusing his Nelson’s.

Born 10/1995 so yeah, by the time spring rolls around he will be 25yrs old. Foreign college hockey players are jealous.

My apologies, you were correct. I guess with his redshirt year and the extra year because of Covid he won’t be the only 25 year old out there in the spring.

I miss playing college sports too but man is there a career plan or anything beyond this?

That’s certainly not as rare as a 25yr old but that is still very rarely seen these days. Even in my day most everyone started freshman year at 18. Some had just turned, some were only a few months from 19 (I was in the latter). 25 1/2 though is really crazy. Mercer>Binghamton>Cuse> Le Moyne. Not someone whose career I have followed but despite a very impressive high school career at a strong NY program he hasn’t left much of a mark anywhere. Injuries? Maybe he is reluctant to give it up because he saw his college career going differently. Still though, this is a bit much.

Nelson started at Binghamton, where his dad was the coach and his brother used to play. Daddy got fired, went to Mercer. Did well, but it's also Mercer. Transferred to Cuse where he had to sit for a year, was a deep reserve for the next two years. Probably knew what he was getting to anyways. Now doing a grad year at Le Moyne, wants to get a Masters and probably wants one more shot at playing lacrosse for a legit team that could win a natty, no matter what division.

There’s a niche market for a parrot BBQ food truck business.
