Two Top 10 games, one Top 6 game, and neither make TV. Geez. TV schedule is really, really crappy this year.

I was thinking the BTN schedule was significantly better this year - although they have been slow to list games for BTN+ on the schedule.

This year we have a full BTN game in February, Yale at PSU. We seem to be getting a lot more games on BTN+.

It makes sense from their perspective to push stuff onto the paid platform but still sucks for us. Maryland had Notre Dame and Albany home games on BTN in 2018. Hopefully the Virginia game in March gets added + at least one of Ohio State's home games vs Denver and ND. Otherwise....only 1 non-con game on BTN really stinks

That is a matter of perspective. If one is willing to shell out for it, getting a lot of games in a month is rather good.

I shelled out for it. You get replays too. I watched the Terp-High Point game Saturday live and then watched it again Sunday morning. Watched some of the PSU game and OSU game.

the big 10 is the wealthiest conference in the nation and there's a dearth of live content during the lacrosse season. This is pretty greedy.

They only have the home games and Hopkins isn't part of the package.
They have both home games this weekend Michigan and Rutgers on BTN+.

Big Ten players of the week:
Offensive - Grant Ament PSU
Defensive - John Geppert UMd
Specialist - Josh Kirson OSU
Freshman - Josh Zawada Michigan

https://bigten.org/news/2020/2/11/penn- ... wards.aspx

I thought maybe Charalambides would be offensive player of the week with his 6 goals (1 assist) against St.John's.

True, although there is the relativity to consider.
PSU is ranked #2 or #1, and has lots of other All-Americans on the team Mac O'Keefe, Jack Kelly, along with Arceri to win the face-off battle and thus perhaps outclassed Villanova about as much as Rutgers outclassed St.John's.

Good point about supporting cast. Ament received the award last week also and I think it is better for the conference to recognize other players as long as their performance is equally deserving which I think Charalambides was.

BTN will air a lacrosse preview show starting on Feb 17. Most likely the tweet interviews they put out a few weeks ago. There maybe additional talent
