Nice story on former All-American defender Adam Baxter in the Sun.

Towson 2020
Re: Towson 2020
I have mixed feelings about Mazza. His actions basically destroyed the team in 2018, along with a couple of others. He's a great talent and sure, could replace Sunday. If he is a changed person and has his act together, great. I do trust Nads that he'll make the right decision for the team and the locker room. Aren't they travelling to Denver again? That's where the suspensions matriculated two seasons ago.

Mazza was addition through subtraction back in '18. Time will tell if he has matured from his experience - suspect he has a much higher bar then the rest of the team, with zero room for backsliding.
His experience could have a huge (positive) impact in the locker room....here is hoping it all works out for the benefit of the team, the program and the student athletes.
Re: Towson 2020
The 2020 roster is out. Mazza is on the roster as is Grant Maloof. He was listed as a senior last season but I assume they got a redshirt year for his sophomore season since he didn't play.
Two more transfers listed:
Freshman Drew Martin (6-3, 185) from Air Force (Dix Hills, N.Y.)
Sophomore Austin Stewart (6-0, 180) from Denver (Arlington, Va.)

Re: Towson 2020
Martin is a D middie that I heard they were grooming to take Goodrich's spot (not an easy task). Steward is an attack/middie who I was told wanted to be closer to home. The first week I was told some of the freshman particularly Anderson from Kentucky, Potter from Michigan, and O'Connor all were impressive. Getting Mazza and Maloof back is enormous. If the squad stays healthy they could be good again.
Re: Towson 2020
Thanks. Makes sense for Martin to replace or attempt to replace Goodrich. He's big and wore No. 14 in HS but looks like he has a pretty good offensive skillset.harflax wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 9:47 pm Martin is a D middie that I heard they were grooming to take Goodrich's spot (not an easy task). On Saturday, Oct. 19, the Tigers will head to The Boys' Latin School on Lake Avenue for a round-robin day of lacrosse.
At 12:30 p.m., Towson takes on defending Southern Conference Champion Richmond, followed by a 2:30 p.m. showdown against the United States Air Force Academy, another member of the SoCon.
Saint Joseph's University will be joining the event as well. The Hawks take on Air Force at 12:30 p.m., followed by a clash against the Spiders.
Towson's 2020 spring schedule will be announced at a later date this fall.
Re: Towson 2020
Why isn’t Woodall on the Us team this weekend? Baptiste & AW are the future. The Greg G has done some great things for the position etc. Time to move on. Plus the last World games w an embarrassment getting a card for an illegal stick.
