I had heard that there was some restructuring of the Heart of America and KCAC Conferences coming in the future, is there any thing to this ?

Restructuring of the midwest programs will be as follows

Heart of America Athletic Conference
Benedictine College
Missouri Valley College
Clarke University
William Penn University
St. Ambrose University
Columbia College

Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference
University of St. Mary
Ottawa Univeristy
Midland University
Morningside College
Missouri Baptist University
Lindenwood University Belleville

Should be nice for the region. 2 conferences, 2 auto bids to nationals.

Its going to be 2019-2020 year. So next season.

I think those schools had no choice. SCAD joined the AAC, RMU has shut down their program, only Independent left is Keiser. Wouldn't be surprised if they ended up in the AAC or the AAC is the next to break up into 2 conferences.

Cumberlands seems to be on a roll, with wins over Point, 26 - 3 and last years National Invit. Tournament winner Reinhardt, 13 - 12. Looks like they have ever top 8 team on the schedule. If they can stay healthy they are on a Championship path, Coming up for them and Ind. Tech, Mo Valley, Siena Heights will be visiting. This should show us there each of these teams stand. Can't wait. :)

Tweeeet! laxmarmot, we deleted your post. To the best of our knowledge, your post is, to be kind, untrue. And, even if it was true and proven to be so, which it is not and has not been, why post that? No penalty. Just a warning. Admin quickly back peddles out the of the range of play and... Tweeet! Play on...

Has anyone heard or seen any news on the Conference realignment with the KCAC and the Heart of America. Seems there should be something coming out about the new programs, and the H.O.A. conference recognizing lacrosse as a conference sport. If not will there be a group of independent teams or will there be a bigger KCAC Conference with 10 - 12 teams.

Can't argue with the facts, that should put them in the in a good position moving forward.

http://www.statesmenathletics.com/article/8255.php roster

http://www.statesmenathletics.com/schedule/23/36.php schedule
Looking at the WP schedule, the H.O.A. Conference is 10 teams deep. That makes it a little tougher to get in some quality OOC opponents on the schedule, or should I say more important, and still mix in some developing teams. Do you go for SOS, or W's vs L's,. :?:

Webber International University is adding men and women lacrosse starting in the 2021 season. They have already hired Chris Burdick from Tampa U to start the program. Maybe a future move to D2 for this school? :?:

It will be interesting to see if Burdick coaches a game at Webber. A lot of people are scratching their heads on why a top D2 assistant, MLL assistant, and former D1 head coach would take a NAIA job. Something has to be going on behind the scenes here....I am sure we will find out shortly
