Rules interpretation

Post by Oldbarndog »

Situation came up in an intersquad today. Close defender intercepts a pass with the ball in the back of his stick, carries and eventually passes the ball. Same situation as a fogo carrying with the back of the stick?

For NFHS rules, i can't find anywhere in the book where that is prohibited, unless the ball is clearly stuck in the back of the stick (with-holding). Language regarding this activity during face-offs is pretty clear about it, of course.

Gonna keep looking and hobnob with my fellow wizards on the topic...
