The regional rankings are out (see here: https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse- ... l-rankings); 5 LL teams are in the top 15 in the east. In fact, the top 15 is pretty much NESCAC/LL, plus a few stragglers.

The games are through the 21st.

2. RIT
6. Union
7. Rensselaer
11. St Lawrence
13. Ithaca

The good news for SLU is that Ithaca remains regionally ranked, giving them an opportunity for an extra two quality wins and meaning they might still have a shot even if they lose in the semis.

I'd still be surprised if RPI makes it in with 5 losses, though a win over Union could do it. Ithaca is obviously done unless they get the AQ.

Also an interesting note: Tufts is ranked #1 in the regional rankings, but #4 in the USILA poll. Go figure.

Considering the Regional Rankings are all that matters I'd say Tufts is pretty good. Nice to see LL well represented.

RPI with 7 4th qtr goals to come from behind to beat Clarkson 13-12! Engineers down 12-8 with 8 mins left and scored final 5 including tying goal at 39 secs and game winner win 1 sec left. Did I read that right? Anyone with some color on this one?

Saw SLU beat Ithaca 10-4. Totally different game from when they played earlier. Saints goalie and defense were solid- face offs were dominated by SLU & they just outworked Bombers. Definitely playing with some confidence- they are going to need that type of effort to take down the Tigers on Wednesday.

The RPI/Clarkson game was pretty crazy; I watched the second half, on-and-off. Clarkson had a lead the entire game, and every time RPI made a run, Clarkson answered.

In the end though, RPI took over. Crazy last minute, Clarkson hanging on by a thread, with RPI netting two. The RPI announcer went absolutely crazy.

Would have been the upset of the year if Clarkson had pulled it off. And I could be wrong, but I think the LL reseeds, which would have sent St Lawrence to Union and a more winnable game to boost their NCAA chances.

Congrats to St Lawrence. Absolutely smothered IC to end a disappointing Ithaca season.

Should be an exciting semi finals tomorrow. An RPI team that’s reeling a little against a tough opponent in UnIon. RPI needs to win if they want to keep their season alive.

SLU vs RIT should be a great one. SLU has played RIT closer than anybody the last few years. Maybe tomorrow is the day they get over the hump. RIT always comes prepared and SLU will need a nearly perfect game to come away with the upset. SLU seems to still be alive for a pool C bid but a win would go a long way for them and their tourney hopes. Would love to see the Larry’s get into the big dance.

Can’t wait for a great day of lacrosse throughout D3!

Gotta have game for SLU. If Prime gets a couple xtra FOs and Terry a couple xtra saves it could be the difference for them. Should be a good one.

In addition to Prime being ultra important today the defense needs to push around some of the smaller
RIT snipers. A little extra toughness and playoff grit that was lacking on slides in the regular season meeting
is most certainly needed.

Ball possession will be vital for the Larries today. If they play their game and limit unforced errors I think they have a shot. This will need to be their cleanest game. Coon's tigers are notorious for capitalizing on those errors and turning a one possession game into a blood bath. Will be fun to watch. Big day for Terry and Prime.

How are the conditions up in Rochvegas these days? It's LL playoffs can't imagine Coon will have his squad playing on the turf if the grass is available.

I hope they get it in- It's supposed to be a rain soaked afternoon in the Roc starting around 4:00 pm with lightning.

Damn. Talk about erasing any doubt that you belong in the NCAA tournament.

And RIT is opening up against SLU, after a very tight first half.
