Six teams each according to this year's pre-championship handbook. First and second seeds get first round bye and host the quarterfinals. Top remaining seeds host the semis. First round Wednesday, May 8, qfs Saturday, May 11, sfs either Saturday or Sunday, May 18/19, and finals on May 26 in Philly. First rounds will be 3 hosting 6 and 4 hosting 5.

Thanks. I did not have the date and locations of first round games and this confirms the rest of the info I have. I believe the first round games should be played at the site of the top 2 seeds to avoid having the winners scramble on an extremely quick turn-around to travel (possibly for the second time) for the qf 3 days later.

Seeds 3 and 4 host the first round games on 5/8. It is all in the Pre-Championship manual available on ncaa.org (not .com). If you want your very own copy, go to the main ncaa.org page, select DII, and then find the link to Championships. On that page are links to all sports by season (scroll down to spring). Find what you want (like Men's Lacrosse) and that link will take you to where the pre-championship manual resides for that sport. Manual contains everything about the process, including who are on the committees, the selection criteria, and the bracket.

What's the glitch in the FanLax rankings?
Lincoln Memorial -- #2 ???
Lindenwood -- #55 ???

Where's Stickhead when you want him? I always knew Stone was overrated!

It looks like the FanLax rankings have been corrected. I hope Lincoln Memorial took a snapshot while they could.

Note that the teams involved all start with "Li" - may have been an ordering issue for wins and losses in a spreadsheet/table.
