I think you have Seton Hill and Saint Leo both a little high. Both programs were hit very hard by graduation.

Tampa at 10 seems low....they return their whole offense and all-American fogo. Need to replace two starters at close D but they will have talent there.

Agree with Limestone at 9, they really struggled defensively last year and while I know they have some transfers coming in to help the offense, I'm not sure the defense will be much better.

Not sure why you don't have Belmont Abbey ranked at all...they did lose a big and productive senior class but they have a good defense returning, and an all-american attackman. Not to mention a transfer FOGO who won 71% last year.

My own rankings...
1. Merrimack
2. LeMoyne
3. Tampa
4. Adelphi
5. Lenoir-Rhyne
6. Colorado Mesa
7. NYIT
8. LIU Post
9. Limestone
10. Seton Hill
11. Mercyhurst
12. Belmont Abbey
13. Lake Erie
14. Wingate
15. Saint Leo
16. Indianapolis
17. Florida Tech
18. St. Anselm
19. Westminster
20. Southern New Hampshire
HM- Lindenwood, Queens, Rockhurst Rollins, Young Harris, Saint Rose, and Pace.

North
1. Merrimack
2. LeMoyne
3. Adelphi
4. NYIT
5. LIU Post
6. Seton Hill

South
1. Tampa
2. Lenoir-Rhyne
3. Colorado Mesa
4. Limsetone
5. Belmont Abbey
6. Wingate

Strange to me that both the NCAA and IL don't have a final DII Ranking. US Lacrosse does and it's not bad.

Colorado Mesa has beefed up their coaching staff, bringing aboard two assts from Rutgers. Watch for them to keep improving given their location, large geographic draw and facilities.

I agree Stone should be interesting team to watch. I don’t think many people disagree they will improve over last year but going from outside the top 20 (if I remember correctly) to #6 seems like it could be a stretch (especially given a few key losses to graduation). ‘19 will be a great season to follow in DII !

Rick I think it will depend on who they have coming in and Redshirts? They usually don't post the full roster until January.

Another head scratching poll from IL... their coverage of D2 is never accurate.

- They nailed the top 3, give them credit.

- With Kew returning for his Senior year, I don't know how Tampa is only ranked #8.

- Lenoir-Rhyne had a great run last year but lost a lot. Only time will tell for them.

- Belmont Abbey at 10? Hmm...

Regardless, 12 teams to The Tournament makes this year very exciting. Can't wait!

Playoff brackets do expand this season. Men go from 8 to 12 teams and the women go from 12 to 16 teams.

Yes, north/south split. I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise.
