Murf - What's up with the threads on LI? Usually they're many pages thick by now. Where is everybody? The Water Cooler has quite a few of the old guard participating but these HS threads are sparse. ???
This is an upstate NY/Baltimore County-centric blog.Ergo, very little interest from Nassau and Suffolk County fans.In addition, the aforementioned stickhead has disappeared. He was an agent provocateur and evoked some harsh, wacky and funny reactions with his pokes.

And he was an encyclopedic savant re: Suffolk H.S. lacrosse. Eg,I've trying to get some information on kid from one of the 4 ISLIP high schools. He left Army Prep and transferred to UVA. If stick were around,he could likely supply a detailed précis of that young man.

Once the 2019 season is over,I'll be checking out as well.I won't be missed.

Enjoy the rest of the season,Nigel.

The young man's name is Bienkowski. Can any of you fine Suffolk County folks send me a pm about this young man? Thanks for any assistance.

good luck with that, Bay Shore Beats Smithtown West in a crazy game. That game was televised 12 ways to Sunday. Refs tried to give the game to Smithtown a few times

BayShore has another big test at Northport today. BS is legit, absolutely destroyed Connetquot on Tuesday. A playoffs are wide open. Should be fun!

Went to Npt/BS game. Boy that was fun, NPT down 6-1 comes back with strong face off and midfield play and wins a close one.

Both teams were filled with athletes.
Npt: #29 and #41 were all making special plays, with solid scoring from #9. (kid can rip it)

BS #34 nice middie on both sides of the field, BS defense very solid with very good athlete's in particular #28 and I think it was #9. #11 impressive between the restraining lines as well.

Needless to say, both teams are very entertaining. Go out and watch either in the playoffs.

Extra bonus, I don't think I saw one flag dropped on the field. ( missed the first five minutes of the game!)

Aside from buying a ticket, youtube may have something possibly - STSPN SPORTS? I have no idea how or who produces something this way but I watched a Prep game from Seattle last week this way.

Smithtown was up 9-6 with about 5 mins to go, almost got the win but couldn’t clear a broken play under a minute and WM scored to tie. Calderone was excellent for Smithtown West. O’Neill lights out on D and in transition for WM. Good game.

Highlight here - amazing good fortune in last 30 seconds of game as a SW player, attempting to save a possession throws a ball going out of bounds right to WM and they get the tie seconds later.

Oh boy, not a good save and probably never had possession anyway. That's too bad
