Found him. An article has him signing with CCBC Essex last summer. Oddly though he doesn’t appear to have made the roster.

Updated brackets for District 1 quarterfinals for Saturday. In AAA it’s looking like a sorting table for the Central League to fall into the top four seeds.

Lookin like Shanahan and Strath Haven will waltz into the finals and the two state seeds.

The “AA” division of the PIAA playoff format is an absolute joke. What’s next, a division where every lacrosse parent gets a participation trophy?

Last night’s InterAc Championship game between Malvern Prep and the Haverford School was another fantastic high school lacrosse game in a long streak of fantastic lacrosse games between the two schools. As usual, the stadium at Cabrini was packed with at least 20 college coaches sitting in lawn chairs along one of sidelines. Although Haverford jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, the Friars quickly tied the game and took a 5 to 4 lead into the locker room at halftime. Malvern increased its lead to 2 goals with about 4-5 mins left in the fourth quarter but Haverford got one of those goals back with about 2 mins left in the game and then scored the tying goal WITH ONE SECOND left in regulation! The entire stadium was going nuts. The first OT was rather uneventful but with about a minute and a half left in the second OT Malvern was flagged for being offsides, giving the Fords a 30 second emo. The Malvern goalie (Petite) then made a great save on a good shot by one of the Fords and after getting the outlet pass, Malvern’s Civatelli sprinted up the field, split a triple team near mid field, and then sprinted towards the goal, switching his stick from his right hand to his left hand shortly before getting a couple of steps away from the crease and beating the Haverford goalie high. What a game! Although it has been said many times before, it truly was a shame that one team had to lose last night’s game.
