Bryant v Bucknell was well done last night on the Patriot League Network. Bryant looked terrible. I'd like to say Nelly looked great, but it's difficult to conclude that with Bryant having 27 turnovers and Nelly only winning by a score of 9-6. That being said, Bucknell has some good looking players that will be a challenge in an already proven Patriot League. I think the Bison will develop over the next few week and be able to hang with the PL. Fantastic game by York.

I've always found that the PLN does a darn nice job. The camera was a little too close on this one, was focused too much on the ball handler and the few around him, needed to back that up a little so you can see more of the field. Not complaining. Hope they can get the clock on the picture in time too.

LINK HERE Once on the page, simply scroll down a bit and use the filters for date, lacrosse, and school. FOr some reason Loyola is not listed in the schools filter, but a filter by date shows it.
When accessing past PL games -- Go straight to the sched page => https://watchstadium.com/schedule/

(1) first select the game date under "Live Schedule" , that allows access to the archived events of that date.

(2) select [Men's Lacrosse] under "Sport"

For Loyola - UVA : select [2/09/2019}, [Men's Lacrosse]. it's the 1st of 4 games listed, click on it & wait for commercials & for it to load, wait out the "STADIUM" logo, & the game's still there, all 2:21 of it.

HCDC wrote: Fri Feb 08, 2019 3:31 pm Has anyone figured out how to record a game (for later viewing) that is broadcast only through a streaming channel/service?

Google search suggests there are some ways to do it on a home computer, just wondering if anyone has actually done it ... and whether there are any recommendations/suggestions.

Thanks

If you have a Mac, there should be a screen recording option built into QuickTime. File, new screen recording.

This may also be the case for Windows computers, but have not used their OS in well over a decade now... so I can't really say for sure.
Try OBS Studio for Window. Free download but a bit fiddly to configure.

So this isn't exactly D1 lacrosse, but apparently ESPN+ is showing UCF@Liberty (club teams) this weekend. That's really surprising to me.

I wonder if Liberty is a potential candidate to add an official D1 team in the near future.

Friday, February 15:
Lafayette at Wagner

Saturday, February 16:
Bellarmine at Cleveland State
Furman vs. Sacred Heart
Manhattan at Virginia Military
Colgate at SUNY-Binghamton
Canisius at Mercer
Princeton at Monmouth
Delaware at NJIT
Hobart at Siena
Richmond at Bucknell
Hello, all! I come bearing the news of an additional 3 games that will be streamed this weekend.

ESPN+ has picked up Colgate/SUNY-Binghamton.
Cansius/Mercer will be streamed on the SoCon Digital Network.
And finally, Delware/NJIT will be streamed on the CBS Digital platform.

I suspect that this is the final schedule of broadcast games for this weekend: https://markmhart9.wixsite.com/mysite/2019-cl3

If anyone is still interested in High Point.
This game is free streaming, assuming the weather cooperates and the stream provider worked out all the early season kinks.

Sat noon est.

Having watched several streamed games this year, it would be great if EVERY streaming site would commit to continually showing the score, period, time remaining in the period, and shot clock. TV viewers cannot routinely see the stadium scoreboard or end-line shot clocks to know how much time is remaining in the quarter and on the shot clock. Being able to see and visually correlate the countdown as teams clear and work for shots would increase viewer experience.

Rutgers-SUNJ let it slip that their game next Saturday (23rd) against Loyola will be on linear BTN at 2:00pm.

An official BTN press release with their full linear tv schedule should be coming either today or first thing next week.

I’m really hoping UNC doesn’t have only one camera angle for today's game

This is my first season really watching online exclusive streams, and it has made me greatly appreciate how much work goes into a high quality tv production.

I got news for you—having fewer Hopkins home games on ESPN is bad for growing the game and getting other teams exposure. Those slots aren't going to be taken up by other non-traditional teams getting games. They'll be taken up by Notre Dame, who despite not having a contract with ESPN like Hopkins does seems to have the most live televised games of any other team year in and year out. Don't see you whining about that. At least Hopkins scores goals!
We are definitely going to see a lot of goals on ESPN. Unfortunately, it is the teams playing Hopkins. Not sure this makes JHU look good overall.

Is it just me or it almost impossible to find lacrosse on the ESPN app? I have both Roku and AppleTV (1st Gen) devices.

There is NO lacrosse sports category. The Albany / Syracuse game doesn't show up under the ACC Conf or the ACC Network.

Of course lacrosse viewing ratings will be low if people can't even find your content.

I can watch on my laptop, but the ESPN app on Roku and Apple TV gives zero over for Lacrosse.
