Finally, the last of the Fall/Winter tourneys....Last year was cold, pouring rain and a mud pit....hoping for dry but chilly weather Saturday at old Redskins field. It is one/two weeks from the start of the Spring (?) season for D1 Women's Lax. I have the Loyola schedule and thought we could start a thread on the beginning of the season....so for Feb/Mar., here is Loyola's schedule: 2/16 - Loyola at Hopkins 2/23 - Florida at Loyola 2/27 - Loyola at Syracuse 3/2...

Daughters did this the previous 2 years....great facility, but...paying to park and no warm up areas were a negative to the arguably best collection of High school (and younger) teams in the East Coast. My eldest loved being able to play her games then go and watch her future college teammates play....

An interesting team to watch this year could be VCU. They have most of their top players back, gained confidence every week, and finished their last 7 regular season games at 5-2. Also, they beat UMass in a 17-16 OT squeaker last season, looked good in Fall Ball, and have a solid freshman crop. For...

Last Fall Ball game in the books for the Hounds. Duke came on Sunday and boy, what a weird game. Loyola came out and ran up a 9-1 lead in the first half before C.
