Re: ISL 2021
Are fans allowed to attend games? Curious about BH vs St Sebs games as those should be fun to watch. Do they have a live stream?

Re: 2021 Schedule News
Denver at Villanova postponed for this weekend. Wonder which team had the Covid issue?
If Denver is available to play would they be willing to play at Lehigh since they were already headed to Philly?

Rizzotti is getting his degree at Dartmouth and will be a 2023 transfer with two years of eligibility. Will be a great addition to a top program.

Re: Cornell 2021
Donville like all Ivy players have an extra year of eligibilty from Spring 2020 that he cannot use at Cornell. He's just checking his options like he should after he graduates.

Re: Ivy League 2020
I just noticed Brown now has nine 2022 commits and eight are midfielders. Interesting strategy to take so many players in one position in one year.

Spring sports season is listed as April 26th through July 3rd. Normally the season start the third week of March which would be March 15th this year. The new start date takes away six weeks at the beginning of the year and adds on two at the end. Nets out to losing 4 weeks. If the MIAA could tighten...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
PM's an acquired taste from a recruiting standpoint. Enjoys telling your son why he shouldnt attend his school when recruiting them. What exactly does this mean? PM pushed for a tougher kid at Cornell than the previous regime. Didn't want kids looking for a country club environment. Very straight f...

Deerfield had this years team in the first session including their 2020's. The second session will be next years team with incoming PG's plus 2021's on down. The 2021's are playing a ton of lacrosse.

Re: Transfer Portal
Aren't 12.6 scholarships based on tuition only and not room and board? If seniors transfer under the new rules they have to fit under the existing 12.6 limit. Seniors staying at the same school can keep their scholarships (up to each school to allow that $) and teams are allowed to go over the 12.6 ...

https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/sources-patriot-league-leaves-fifth-year-decisions-to-member-programs/56252 Looks like the answer is up to each school which mostly applies to BU, Lehigh and Loyola grad schools this year for seniors. Interesting that transfers count against the 12.6 cap. Will ...

in addition to the service academies, most of the other schools don't have grad schools. Looks like only BU, Lehigh and Loyola have sizable grad schools?

Schools also will have the ability to use the NCAA’s Student Assistance Fund to pay for scholarships for students who take advantage of the additional eligibility flexibility in 2020-21. This was in the a NCAA announcement, so my question is it only a 1 year exemption, meaning all the other under c...

Re: MASS HS Lax
Not sure about Longmeadow but Hingham and SJP should be getting votes as well. Both teams return a solid core of players and have the depth to win the D1 title along with LS. Watched them play over the summer and was impressed with the skill level of each team. I'm sure there are plenty of others th...
