Re: York College

Low tuition costs, location is convenient off 83, and coaching is solid.

So UNCC is starting program with old head coach of Queens (and asst coach). New head coach for Queens from High Point-this could be interesting for recruiting.

Re: State of NAIA lacrosse

Living in Atlanta area now I got to see some lacrosse. KSU D1 and Life/Reinhardt NAIA games. The interesting thing about the NAIA colleges-schools like Life, SCAD and Keiser have a lot of options for girls academically. I know Life has chiropractic doctorate program and attract D1 and D2 grads and t...

Re: NAIA Women 2021

Agreed-#88 for Life was the smoothest player in the tourney. I like players that do all the little things not just force to goal.

Re: NAIA Women 2021

Saw the NAIA Quarterfinal match-ups and... Why aren't Concordia (Mich.) and Georgetown (Ky.) playing? Especially Concordia. And both are better choices than Lawrence Tech (Mich.) and Benedictine (Kan.), no? Concordia didn't play anyone, conference only really hurt them. Georgetown is on a downward ...

Re: Ivy League issue?

I guess those kids at Louisville were just kids that didn't want early practices LOL. Maybe we should not speculate about others. Many kids were in toxic programs and transferred into better programs-they were not quitters-maybe they learned not to put up with BS

Re: Transfer Portal

Coaches can not contact a player until in the portal. Well i may be naive, but i cant see North just throwing her name into a portal and then contacting BC. Or waiting for BC to call. If i was going to leave Duke, i would want to know i had somewhere to land before i pulled that rip cord/burned tha...

Re: Women’s Lacrosse Needs Parity

As long as parents and players are more concerned with winning Championships than getting quality education with real majors-this will always be the case. When top talent decides to go to XYZ college and be an Engineer or PreMed major and maybe bring that program up-then things will change. UMD and ...

Re: Transfer Portal

Yes that’s def true. But curiously I have heard from many parents of players that KAH is nasty as can be and plays mind game so with her players but I don’t see anyone transferring from NU? Agree it is much easier to put up with the BS if you are at a great academic school. A lot of girls aren't ge...

Re: Transfer Portal

Can we guess? North, Ortega, Petty, Trenchard, Cooper, Moreno, Aldave. Only considering rising sophs/ juniors who are impact players in the ACC. Feel free to delete if speculation is not allowed. These are all interesting names. What about them makes you wonder if they might transfer? In general, w...

Re: NCAA Div 1 National Championship Seedings & Sundries

At least they finally called Steele for being in the crease-she has been in there the last 3 games . The warding call was horrible and MD got away with some very aggressive questionable defense. However , it always seemed like MD would win. Great teams shoudn't need help with calls.

Re: TOPTM?

At this point JMU is no longer relevant and BC and MD are the best 2 teams . I did not see the MD game but watched BC beat UNC-the new GK is the real deal.

How about the refs start calling a few flopping yellow card-delay of game calls or such. Simple change for the refs-after the first few calls -girls will think twice about the make believe head contact.

Just thinking about how crucial a good coaching staff can be. Some teams like the Winthrop coach going to VT and turning that program around immediately. Would be nice to get some insights into some other programs.

Re: Games Televised and Webcasted 2019

Watched the JMu -UVA game. JMU just not the same fire power on offense as last year and teams have figured out the zone defense. They tried to go man to man but they don't have the speed on defense to stop the top teams. They were OK in the draw circle but need to use the center mid as a FOGO essent...

Re: Games Televised and Webcasted 2019

I only got to see Fla./UNC yesterday. UNC won the draw circle for most of the game but Fla. was making the comeback. I felt like Florida had a few players forcing to goal too much and were lucky to not have more charging calls against them. UNC still the best 1v1 dodgers in country. When they go set...
