Great and unexpected ending to what had looked to be a really disappointing Maryland season. Terps played unbelievable in the tournament but ND in the end was the best team in lacrosse this year, and it showed. This was the first game I watched Denver play this year and I came away super impressed with how active the defense is. A lot of aggressive stick checks - always on the opposing players hands. Is that how they've played all year? It's making defense a weapon, which is great.
